How much yardage did you use? I have about 614 yards (283 grams) of yarn and I’m wondering if that’s enough for this project?

The written instructions differ from the video instructions. I can freehand and improvise easily, so i just did whatever i could to make it work.

Would zip ties hold this together as well as the yarn or duct tape?

    • @jenhitch5199

I would say yes to zip ties no to duct tape. I use mine outside so might loose the sticky in long run

This is a beautiful pattern. So well planned and thoroughly explained. I made it twice - one for my son and one I adapted for a doll. Both came out beautifully. Thank you so much for making it available to us. I especially love the “nose” construction and the way it holds the eyebrows in place.

I made one for myself earlier this year and oncoming foot traffic on the sidewalk downtown was parting ways like I was Moses the first time I wore mine in public. Utterly hilarious! I get a lot of strange looks to this day but people just as often comment on how cool they think it is, often asking me where I got it. They're always surprised to learn that I made it myself. I'm making a second one for myself as we speak. I even tweaked the process slightly to make Zoidberg from Futurama after people started calling me Zoidberg when wearing my Cthulhu mask.
