Over the years I have had the opportunity to share the stage with many talented musicians and have learned numerous techniques & styles along the way. I grew up in Michigan and cut my teeth on Motown, Memphis Soul, Detroit Rock and Chicago Blues. During my time in Florida, my band opened shows for many greats like: The Beach Boys, Poco, Mountain, the Byrds, Chuck Berry & more.

An original song I wrote in as an ode to Springtime. Fingerpicked on my new Guild 2512E 12 String Jumbo and recorded for the 1st time here today. I wrote this song after visiting a Bluegrass festival in Kentucky. It would sound nice, I think, with some harmonies and a banjo / fiddle playing along. Don't you? Fond memories of my younger days in Michigan driving the country roads with my friends....
