I know it's in the description that it's the factory sounds...BUT...Use the Oberheim DMX as your kick drum sample at the very least. Otherwise well done. Sorry just nit picky I guess

Thank you so much for doing these tutorials. Actually I never wanted to get a Sample 2. I'm more of a vocal person, I'd be satisfied with a 6 parts drumpad and wouldn't miss anything, but your tutorials actually made me buy a Sample 2. It just arrived today, so I am thrilled to try this one out this weekend! :D

Bro, I've watched so many sample "How To" "Tutorials" "Walk throughs" etc. They're all just "This is how you do this, click that, this is how you get that, Now listen to my beat I made" They're ok, but I never learn much. They way you pic a song everyone knows and likes and you lay it out, Show how to get all the sounds and pattern them is brilliant. These videos must take so long to create. They're so thorough and detailed and layed out for us so simple and well. Hands down, these are THE best sample tutorials on YT. I always learn a new technique or a new way of doing something. Hello Jump! Thanks so much for offering these tutorials for the Volca Sample V2...it's a big help for a total beginner like myself (no music theory whatsoever) to better understand how songs are structured in a logical fashion. I did notice a potential typo at the 32:58 & 34:07 marks in the video? For step #14, the graphic is shown with a C# +1, but your voiceover says C# +2 instead. I'm not sure if you were aware of it? I'm assuming it's probably near impossible to correct the video, but I thought I'd mention it. Even for my ears...something sounded a little flat?

The parameters changes per step described on sec 5:30 does not work on my volca v1 :/ Does anybody knows if this is a matter of firmware or something? When I start mine, shows 1.43

Followed this step by step, gave me a much better understanding of the Sample. The Volca Drum was simple for me to pick up and start jamming, but the Sample defiantly takes some getting using to. Sincerely thank you. Absolutely love this song. I request you try the Mortal Kombat theme when you have the time.

I was definitely expecting you to play the song and kind of go over when you mute and what not after you finished programming everything. Is this possible on the sample 1 ? Trying in vane to change the note in the base PART, I guess this is not possible with the Sample 1.....

Might be a dumb question but, I'd like to be able to set up something like this with death metal drum samples and have it run through a full song while I'm playing guitar. I could use DAW but I'd rather have something dedicated. Is the Volca equipped for something like that or would it require too much manual pattern switching to be viable? Thanks.
