Chicken restaurant in Tashkent Uzbekistan
#thingstodoinTashkent #restaurant #uzbekistan
Axmad oltin Joja is a popular chicken restaurant in Tashkent Uzbekistan. I got to know of this place when I was asking one of my students to recommend a good local restaurant. It’s quite a nice restaurant, comfortable and friendly place.
Must visit if you’re exploring local food. Highly recommended for all the foreign teachers in Uzbekistan like myself.

      The seasoning was better in Tashkent. The mango drink here in kl was good but diluted

    • @Jumoana
      @Jumoana 5 месяцев назад

      @@TravelingKroo Ah yeah i think i would prefer diluted ive purchased mango juice before that was so sweet it almost made me sick, though preference is key here usually they adjust sweetness to the local taste. Do you think you could guess what difference was in the seasoning? or describe the difference as in was it more or less tangy, maybe not spicy enough or missing a specific spice you prefer such as cumin etc. If you could answer similar question as these in as few words as possible the videos would be much more enjoyable, i would suggest look at Spanian or besteverfoodreview for ideas on how to describe the taste or ingredients.

    • @TravelingKroo
      @TravelingKroo 5 месяцев назад

      @@Jumoana here’s a detailed reply. It was crispy just not quite there, to me it tasted less seasoned or had a different taste. So, Uzbekistan KFC isn’t the best in the world but when I had it, it had more flavor, I could feel it was juicier on the inside. But this is just my opinion. I love Nasi Kandar better. Malaysia has some food I really love like Thosai. I came here to taste them. So no need to get serious about an honest reflection. In Uzbekistan there is no nasi kandar.

    Turkey invaded India starting in the 11th century and continuing for another 500-800 years after that. Part of the reason for their invasions was to spread Islam and part of it was to take advantage of the spice and silk trade that India became rich in.

    • @TravelingKroo
      @TravelingKroo 5 месяцев назад

      I don’t know of any Turk that came to India in 11th century and stayed. The Mughals are Uzbeks not Turks. But it’s interesting to see how they’re thought of as Turks. Babur was from Andijan in Uzbekistan. They’re later generations, after Babur they married Indian and so were Indianized. They were enjoying the wonderful mix of Indian spices to Uzbek Plov. :)
