Kel-Tec P17 - SilencerCo Sparrow Suppressor (Day2)
Просмотров 2 тыс.Год назад
Kel-Tec P17 w/ SilencerCo Sparrow Being over-caffeinated, and having frozen hands, made it so I couldn't hit that 6" steel target to save my life. Shooting the (much warmer - 45 degrees) day before, Surprisingly, I noticed that the suppressor didn't affect the accuracy much at all at 50 yards. I would probably see a small accuracy difference (suppressed vs. non-suppressed) on a paper target, bu...

MEC 9000 - .410 Bore Reloading

Right to the point. No long winded talking. Reloading .410's on a MEC9000GN Progressive Reloader. I forgot to mention station 1 is also the brass sizing, and station 2 also sets the primer. Recipe: (I consistently get 1200 ft/sec from this load) AA HS Hulls Lil Gun Powder MEC #10 or 11 Powder Bushing. (Weigh your own drops) #11 is better when using 410 tubes on and inertia trigger over and unde...

MEC 9000G resizing die cleaning
I'm not sure what you're referring to. Also, the 9000 doesn't have a resizing die. It has a collet that kind of, but does a very bad job at sizing. I only have one gun for each gauge, so sizing isn't really an issue for me. It's a different story for my daughters .410. I can tighten that collet down to the max and the shells still won't fit in the gun. I run the shells through the MEC 600 Jr sizing die, and all is good.
Badass machine right there
Way better than I expected. My 14yo daughter insisted she try it. She hit full throttle and it nearly spun her around in a circle. lol.
@ that’s awesome !😂
cci quite Won that hand
Yeah, those are really quiet.
1:57 you could see the bullet!! That was awesome!!
do you know the average cost/1
Using my opportunist style of purchasing, it costs me $0.21/shell ($5.23/box). That is assuming you are salvaging hulls. My supply prices right now are. Shot-$52/25lbs | Wads-$11/500ct | Powder-$260/8lbs | Primers-$57/1000ct.
How did you do that? I mean extract the tire on the other side
I have 5 extensions for a roof rake that I broke years ago. I put the extensions together, attach the chained to the front end of it, and push it all the way through the culvert (you can do that with PVC pipe too) It's surprisingly easy to push through.. Now the chain is sticking out both ends of the culvert. Attach the slip-hook and the chain through the tire, and the other end to your truck or ATV. Make sure you use a good chain with a good slip hook that won't come loose. I even put an extra shackle on it, because if that slip hook comes loose, and that tire gets stuck, you're screwed. Time to get a backhoe and replace the culvert.
You didn't move the primer lock out down. How is it that primers didn't jam in the hole at the other end of keep trying to load them?
Are you talking about the end of the run when there was no more hulls? If so, one primer will slide into position, but will stay there because there is no hull to take it in, then when you operating the handle (on the upward movement) it will pull that primer back to the initial position, so another primer will not move into that position. They will just stay there. Is that what you meant?
@@skeet25s yours must be different than my 800 plus. Once the carriage goes up and the primer gets moved to the end, it drops in a hole and when the carriage goes down and the primer bar goes back. It picks up another primer. On the next cycle it then pushed the primers against each other.
@@eddieb4227 Yeah, my 900 must be different. Mine will not accept a second primer.
hi great presentation, ive reloaded with the lee load all, and mec 600j, i recently picked uo one of these, refurbished it , and all i can say , is i wish i had one long ago, :) they are awesome machines, :)
They make incredibly consistent reloads.
Where do you park to ride dam trail. Thanks
Sorry, I never get alerted when a comment comes in. I always park across from the airfield. There isn't a lot of distance to these trails.
Wow that would have hurt
Sure would have.
Great video! Could you tell me where to park to hit that trail. I'm coming over from VT
If you haven't already figured it out, it's best to park at the airfield, and ride north. None of the trails are very long. Very fun though.
Great video! My wife and I are going to check it out Sunday. Are the trails marked ? Thanks
Sorry for the delay. I've been on vacation. Did you end up going? Yes, the trails are usually marked well.
whats the top speed on that 90?
I'm not sure yet. My daughter is too new to riding for me to open up the throttle limiter all the way and let her rip. Not that she doesn't want to. :-). I'm guessing around 35mph is the top speed.
She’s doing great .. Getting the same bike for my little guy
@@dannymacdonnell251 Great :-) Using that electronic limiter, for a very short time, then the throttle limiter really helped. Now, I have it opened al the way up, and I still feel I can trust her. I even let my younger daughter on it, who is far more, let's say, spirited... and she did fine too.
Never heard of the rocket
It right in the center of Warren. Gotta love it.
Super masine dar asi vra asa un cadou
It is a fine, but tempermental machine
What kinda chains?
Moose Utilities. They are as durable as can get.
Need a 30 dollar flap for top helps a lot
I should get one.
How many miles of trails are at that spot?
About 4.5 Miles
Is it easy to find your way around? I cant find any trail maps of BoundTree. Is there any single track type trails there?
Sorry about the delay. I didn't notice there was a comment until now. The signage is great there. Just make sure all the rules are followed. There is a group of busy-body people trying to close those trails, and have succeeded in a good portion of them. There is not single track there. For that, look into "Contoocook Valley ATV" club in Henniker. I "think" they have a lot of single track only trails. They have a map online somewhere.
Thanks for the response. Cant seem to find much online info about boundtree. Glad there is good signage. I understand about following rules. There is no public offroading in my state. One last question. I prefer hard/slow/technical over fast/open trails. Any suggestions?
@@philipmarr7325 That's what I prefer too. SCATV (Sullivan County ATV) has some technical trails. The best was Monadnock, but that closed.
How big is the blade?
60"
Did the chains make a lot of difference. Great video
Yes, the chains make a huge difference. The reason I got stuck is because the front tires dropped over the edge of the steep culver (straight down), and the plow cuts down into the snowbank. I get stuck there all the time because you can't see where the edge is. Sometimes when I don't feel like taking the truck out, I just dig out the snow on the inside of the plow (a real pain in the a**), and I am able to back out, but only when I have the chains on.
LOL Pushed a little too far, got stuck, and had to get the truck to pull yourself out! Done that a LOT myself! Fun video, bud! Cool to get on camera!
Thanks. I strapped my contour3 camera to my porch railing. I have been stuck in that ditch about a dozen times :-) You can't see the edge of it when plowing. I told my wife I need a second 4wheeler to pull myself out, but she's not biting. It was a 24 hour blizzard. I wasn't recording the next day when I backed into that basketball hoop...hard. LOL. I'll be straightening that up this spring.
