As a wize man once said: "expectations cloude your judgement". I really enjoyed the movie. Loved the main cast, scenes like the betting, Owen looking around in Nick's room or the interogation kept you at the edge of your seat and you were not sure where does this lead. The movie might seem shallow but it is also quite short. At the beginning Nick says that he does not do big jobs because it is fantacy and then he tries to do a big job and fails (since he lost the money) morale of the story?

It's a Quinton Tarentino masterpiece. It couldn't have been produced in any other way. Each scene is outstanding with thematic background music and the sound tracks are just off the charts. Not to mention we would have missed out on David Carradine's exquisite performance. Would have been really sad if we could have had him in there and didn't because of release date. True masterpiece, every minute of screen and audio time. Loved every character, especially the performance of Budd.

The fungus is based off of cordyceps, a very real fungus in ants. The fungus takes over the ant controlling it to go up high on a leaf and bite down. Where overtime a fungal plant grows out of its body emitting spores further spreading the fungus. However humans can not get it. In the show though the fungus mutates letting it infect others. P.S. I am not an expert this is just info I have heard of from other people

Underrated

David Lynch is like a mad scientist of cinema, creating weird and wonderful experiments that leave audiences scratching their heads and wanting more!!!! His films are like a strange dream you can't quite explain, but you don't want to wake up from either. He's basically the Willy Wonka of the film world, lol but with more mystery and less chocolate.

Kim Wexler is the ultimate multitasker - she can handle multiple clients, cases, and personalities all at once. She's always one step ahead of the game and could probably add "professional circus performer" to her resume. Plus, she drinks enough coffee to power a small city.
