Welcome to Britrock Guitar! I have five very simple aims for my channel:

1. To offer a clear guide to playing guitar for beginners.
2. To give information and confidence to new guitarists.
3. To share my knowledge of the guitar effectively.
4. To provide a platform for new guitarists to learn and progress quickly.
5. To expose all viewers to guitar music of the highest quality.

If you are a total beginner, start with my ‘How to hold a guitar’ video and gradually build your confidence by moving onto 'Basic guitar chords'. Before you know it, you will be able to play the songs of your favourite rock guitar bands and artists. There are also many useful videos linked to guitar-related topics, from choosing the right guitar to changing a broken high E string. I have enjoyed playing and listening to guitar rock music for several decades and it is now time for me to give something back.
