Omg
I love that video
THATS ISSAQUAH VALLEY ELEMENTRY
MS WILLIAMS WAS MY TEACHER IN KINDERGARTEN I LOVED HER
I was once at discovery good times 👍
One of the best managers during my years at our former employer.
Hi yanko
Truman is talking about himself from 2098, that....he never mentions the pandemic...that wouldve been great to know about.
Lol I’m not in the right class.
Thank you for taking the time to record and post this video! The board covered a ton of material and appeared very transparent on the thought process for decisions that affect the communities they serve. I don’t agree with all the decisions made thus far, but applaud the efforts to reach out to the common parent.
When you move🥺
I was the second to get called. My cap said "Look Who Survived The Snap".
MS WILLIAMS MY TEACHER
I go to that school
and hanna beiker?
Nc
Congrats Super Steve! You be so missed❤
11:58 the guy in the second row that’s really tall without the green thing IS MY FREAKING BROTHER
Thank you for the videos! Our Classified staff is amazing here at Clark. We love them!
Hilda Ruiz is one of the most dedicated, devoted, loving paraprofessional that I had the pleasure of working with for 13 years. The kids all love her and her co workers love her more. Discovery ECE is so incredibly lucky to have Hilda working with them.
Nooooooo, we have schooool
Thank you for all you do! So appreciate all the extra effort!
This is "one" school district that keeps on doing the "boy who cry wolf" through the week. Every day for this week, a message of "2-hour delay" for the next day then the next morning, "no school" and as parents, we are to scramble to find sitters. Then today (Fri, 2/15/19), there's actually school when sitters are expecting "no school". If that south end school can't be open, then let that one not open! Then the other issue is constantly having fund raising activities and making a big stink that ISD needs money, but then my daughter finds out on the last day of school, how much non-used school supplies are thrown away. This district is a mental basket-case and can't make wise decision!
This is highschool, the students can stay home alone. If you don't trust your kid home alone when they are a freshman or above then you have a serious trust issue. Most of the schools they build cost around 60million dollars, I don't think they need money. Also they can't predict weather, if there is snow they will always say 2 hour delay, if conditions do not change then they will close school.
Did you're see Maple Valley Elementary picture in there?
I answered your above question directly. And you choose to insult me with "trust" issue in previous message, then you say, "it's the best that they can do at the time" is your reason by changing the subject. I don't care what you say - hold yourself accountable and admit that you made a mistake. Stop going off in a tangent.
Let's see you've insulted me with "the inability to leave my high schooler alone" and "I obviously don't know how time works" and "couldn't expect less ignorance from an entitled parent who doesn't trust their high schooler alone at home". Quit denigrating me. It's your anger that you're projecting on me and everything you accused me of is further than the truth. You live in your own world and you're getting all riled up for nothing.
Again, you "literally" indicate that I am saying the school district can predict the weather. I am "literally" pointing out the vicious cycle of the messages being posted. And again, you are trying to insult me with "riled up".
ok its 4am and my bud and i r grinding bc were freaking out about school and our very much important safety!! the roads r getting icier and icier (we have been observing since 2am), and its not slowing down soon, dude. so yeaa please cancel school the 2 hour delay won't make it safe for us to attend with this icy and snowy roads!
The roads are not clear!!! Tonight me and my family went to Maywood Middle School to see how the roads are and the roads are in terrible condition! They should cancel tomorrow for everyone’s safety!
As a student - I understand that the district has already put a lot of money into trying to clear school parking lots, etc, but I honestly think this is a waste of time and resources. Why push so hard for a single half day before we leave again for mid-winter break? There's not a whole lot students or teachers can accomplish in just 6 shortened periods, and it just doesn't seem worth the effort and potential dangers of getting to school. My car was frozen to our driveway this morning, and despite slightly warmer recent temperatures/some melting, my parents still got stuck attempting to leave for work. I even live in an area that got less snowfall than most of Issaquah. If safety is really ISD's first concern (and if not, it should be), I urge you to cancel school tomorrow. Put the funds you're pouring into hastily shoveling snow into LRC programs or art studios instead. Thanks for reading.
can we just take a moment and notice how many students in the comments pretending to be a concerned parent
Mkjay05 I just read “I’m an important mother of 7, my children have fallen and they weigh 50 pounds and are in the tenth grade” 😂 every other comment is a student I think
obamacare
This is stupid and desperate why are you rushing all of these? I mean take time to recover from the snow. The students' safety are at risk and it is what you guys said was your #1 priority. Plus a 30 minute class doesn't even make sense. Jesus this is still too dangerous. Think twice Issaquah School District. We don't want the incident in University of Washington to happen to any students of Issaquah! Thank you very much
Also, can everyone stop saying their entire family was impaled by icicles? It's funny but also tragic i'm literally shaking and crying rn please this is too relatable
even tho my children have the power of God and anime on their side the snow still messin with them :(((
Just cancel school
guys i broke both my legs slipping infront of the highschool and now they both have to get amputated, thanks a lot ISD. please close school
stop guys i am taking my daughter out of this school district. this is unprofessional and disgusting, i know school is important but safety is 100 times more important.
A very important mother of 7 here, would like to clarify that school should not only be canceled, but to rather have it shut down for a bit. 5 of my beautiful children already had either their hip or abdomen split because of the dangerous, horrifying ice. They weight around 50 pounds and are in the 10th grade, so they should've withstood the fall, but unfortunately the snow was too much. Please reconsider your actions and think for the pupils of your district.
I have, to be honest, the kids cannot be put through this, my son fell on his back today, because he was walking to the library, he fractured his spine and now has to be in a wheelchair for the rest of his life, I'm so disappointed with this district, please don't put the rest of the kids, through this garbage, thank you sincerely
you guy are dumb by making us go to school you are increasing the risk of a fatal car accident by 97%
Yall better cancel school I aint got a car to drive in cause I spun out and crashed just a few hours ago
My son was walking through the library and slipped on some ice, on top of that he got stage 4 hypothermia and now we have to get surgery to remove 3 of his fingernails. Please cancel school, you cannot put the students through this stress!
Please, my whole family is dying on the street because they crashed their car due to ice on the roads. We can't send our children to school while the roads are like this. Please cancel it tomorrow
my dad fell on the ice today while going to the community center, he is getting a surgery tomorrow, THE SIDEWALKS ARE NOT SAFE, FOR GOD'S SAKE CANCEL SCHOOL!!
My dad spun out and crashed his car just an hour ago. THE ROADS ARE NOT SAFE CLOSE SCHOOL!!!!
What’s even the point of going to school of a two hour delay like it’s way to icy out there for kids just cancel school it’s a lot safer
Cancel school
OK SO I DID GO TO CREEKSIDE! AND EVERYONE WANTS THIS SCHOOL TO BE CANCELED SO JUST CANCEL IT BECAUSE IF U DONT SOMEONE COULD GET HURT IN THE SNOW LIKE IF U AGREE
LAURENlollypop123 YT IKR
Even my mom says that it’s wayyyy to dangerous
My mom slipped out there way to dangerous for kids to have school
omg way to dangerous my mom might get in a car crash please please please just cancel school for the sake of god thank you
Just cancel school
It’s way to dangerous to be out there I say cancel school
