As well as reviewing cruise ships, I focus on food and drink, including bars, buffet, main dining rooms and specialty dining. I also share my tips for cruising, and reviews of ports and itineraries. I've cruised on many ships, different cruise lines, and been to destinations including the Caribbean, Mexico's Pacific coast, Alaska and Hawaii!

Motto by Hilton New York City Chelsea - Room Tour & Hotel Review - Affordable Manhattan NYC Hotel
This is my review of my recent stay at the Motto by Hilton New York City Chelsea hotel. I stayed in a King Landmark City View room and I paid $325 per night, including all taxes and the mandatory daily destination resort fee.
These rooms are small, but that's normal for NYC. I really enjoyed the amazing skyline city views from my room on the 31st floor. I thought the room was cozy and modern, and the king bed was very comfortable. The room had a very large smart TV, safe, mini fridge, complimentary WiFi, and plenty of USB outlets. There was no coffee maker in the room but there is a coffee bar in the lobby where you can get espresso coffee drinks or regular drip coffee. You can use the dai...

I sail with this ship in January 2025 for my 50th birthday. I can't wait excellent review.
This is a Costa ship, that has moved to Carnival line. It was an Italian ran ship. I have been on a Costa ships. Everything was in Italian, couldn't understand the announcement. Even when you are getting a bowl of icecream they ask, do you want tomato sauce topping on your icecream. Even the coffee tasted like tomato sauce. Italians can not say they invent pizza, not on that Italian ship, cardboard tasted better. Maybe it was cardboard with sauce and cheese. We have to many ships to choose from, never again for me.
What floors are regular.great and best?
Thanks for the video! I’ve heard most cruise ships the connecting room has no sound proofing, but it sounds like you didn’t have this issue.. glad to hear that since my room will have an adjoining door.

It was horrible for us. Just got off 8/24/24 and pool is small on lido packed with kids and main dining food was hours late , elevators always stuck or jammed packed because nobody could figure out how to use them and the shows were really good just not enough of them to entertain us also the gym is small and crowded don’t even bother and watch out for coal roll at the back of the shop could stain your clothes

Check in was good. I never saw more than a couple of people waiting in line. Daily "urban destination fee" is $30. Self-parking: $55.00 per day and valet parking: $85.00

And it is so fun when you first get on you usually eat dinner and then you can dance in the middle were the pool is but the out side pool is freezing but like 2-3 day the top oh the cruise 🚢 there is sliding glass food that opens and the inside pool gets warm but yea 5⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had a very fun time on carnival frenzy Italian style. I had my cousins their stepdad and their mom, my whole family and my grandma in my order Cousin . It was really fun. I had a good time. I miss going on the cruise ship because my cousins live in Colorado now, but yeah, the towel animals are fun but the eyeballs fall off in one day he made a monkey for my sister

Your view might not be considered obstructed but I would not have been happy to have those lightboats right below my balcony. I'm in the process of booking a cruise for next year so this was super helpful.. Thank you!!!

Could you please advise if this ship would be suitable for a family cruise? My husband and I previously sailed on the Radiance, which had a more lively atmosphere. We are now planning a family cruise and would appreciate your opinion on the suitability of this ship for our family. Thank you for your assistance.
@@beauty7862 thanks for watching! Family you mean with kids? I think it will work but overall i think Royal Caribbean caters better for kids, while still being enjoyable for adults.

I really like the styling of this ship! It reminds me of The Palazzo in Vegas. It definitely seems more geared to adults than children which can be nice. Glad I chose the Navigator for our family trip but will absolutely keep this in mind for future adults-only trips. Nice review!

Nice video, looking to do a 7nt mexico cruise, which one was a better, navigator of the seas or firenze? They are the same price and its my first time.
It really depends what you want to do. I think there's more space and more things to do on Navigator. I liked the bars on board. The water slides on Navigator are way better if that's your thing. But it's an older ship so the cabins are quite dated. Don't think you can go wrong with either though.

Do they have a iron on the ship?
Not in the rooms, and there's no self service laundry on board. So if you want something pressed you have to pay for them to do it for you.

What time was your arrival slot?
11:30-12:00 We arrived around 11:45 and the line didn't move until 1:00, and we stepped on the ship at 1:45. They'd basically stopped boarding everyone unless they had status or were in suites until they'd disembarked everyone. There was a massive delay in that process partly due to late arrival. But it also took us ages to get off and we were not delayed on arrival. Our disembark group was 8:30 to 9:00 and didn't get called until 9:30 and weren't in the terminal until 10:00. Overall worst embark and disembark I've ever experienced. Weird because although this ship is new in long beach it's the same size and layout as panorama.
Looks fun, we're planning a trip to Cabo can't wait 😄

It was my first cruise and I wasn’t impressed. I didn’t get the amazing cruise experience everyone has raved about.
I hope you try again! Celebrity or Princess might be a better fit if you want something a bit more relaxed and upscale.

I had wheelchair assistance, so I flew through the check-in! Huge bathroom in 7366
The cover on Lido deck was closed the whole time for us. Think i would like it open like other Carnival cruises . We just got back yesterday from a 4 day cruise.
What did you think overall?
@@LetsAllCruise it was awesome. We got the balcony which was a plus. The elevators had issues and were slow. But not much complaints. Didn’t get off at Enscenada. But we seen it before. And we rented the golf cart in Catalina which we didn’t do last time. The gym was decent and we worked out everyday. Didn’t go in the pools because it was crowded with kids. Think we might do all adult cruise or Norwegian since that’s geared to the older crowd. I gave this cruise 6 out of 10.
@@KevinSmith-oz5oz nice! Glad you enjoyed it. I've yet to visit Catalina but want to go there sometime. If you're looking for an older crowd and less partying Princess and Celebrity are good options.
In Los Cabo, it was open but the other day it was to cold. Cruise 10 days ago.
The hotel is gorgeous, but if I"m honest, that big gold and silver nugget structure is ugly.
Bonjour, There is no table clothes in main dining room since 4-5 years on all Carnival ship... excepte elegant nights 🙂

No tablecloths any nights any more....at least in the your time dining restaurant. And, it doesn't bother me.

Just came back from that trip with the panorama and omg I had the time of my life in Cabo’s save money and just find a good deal with the vendors exchange ur money to peso you’ll save a lot more they rip you off alot with the dollars
