Earlier this year I wrote a dark comedy with my friends about a group of students writing a musical about zombies only to find out that there is an actual zombie apocalypse happening outside. In 2017, I saw him on broadway show called “Natasha Pierre and the great comet of 1812”. That show was mesmerising and I can’t forget about him. Now I am so happy to know that he already came to Japan and performed in 2014…thank you for uploading this clip.

Wow his voice is AMAZING, he sounds exactly like the original. Very talented. And the band is so talented too. The women singing for the hyenas also do an incredible job. Everyone is so talented. Such a good performance!

people making movies now think any actor or celebrity can voice act when theyre often much more talented, they simply dont care. this song was originally gonna be cut in the remake but they half assed it. the guy voicing scar seems to think slow delivery = menacing when he just sound like a 3rd grader reading

Because it's live action and Jeremy Irons lost his singing voice after he says You cannot get a sniff without me, so they used Jim Cummings to finish the rest of the song.

@vazrachandra249 No, Alex Gibson was not the same singer as in the original 1994 movie. The original song was a composite of Jeremy Irons (main actor for Scar) and voice actor Jim Cummings whose voice replaced that of Irons' in much of the second half of the song.
