There are way more things to talk about. I just talked about a couple. Most of the time you get a really good feature you normally compromise in other ways. The fishability and deck of this boat is excellent without compromise. Is there anything else you would like to know?

After first stunk tree should of learn all that tech and you couldn't mark a tree probably should stick to trolling motor before braking out.
I didn’t show it in the video, but we trolling motored about 200 yards out before taking off. We actually hit a different tree. We now have two waypoint of obstacles to avoid.

Believe id troll to main channel before trying to get on plain next time there...does map not show standing timber in there?
I didn’t show it in the video because shorts can only be a minute, but we trolled about 200 yards offshore and checked our graft to make sure we were in the channel before taking off. After talking to quite a few other people turns out that there are a few trees that grew in the channel and that area. Giant trees. The water was about 60 foot deep in that spot.
That has to be Truman. Generally I’d come in with a smart ass comment but that can happen to anyone on that lake

@@Fishingtheotherside No kidding? I’ve fished Pomme a ton and never had that happen. Man you guys had a stretch of bad luck to smoke two of them like that. Sucks man but glad you’re good. Fiberglass can be fixed but people not so much.
That’s why you take it easy in places you aren’t familiar take it slow

We are twice as cautious as most of the guys we compete against. The repair shops around the area have to be making so much money with all the lower units going out!

For sure! We have dodge one during take off in the AM. Couple guys back ended up hitting it right after we dodged it and took out their lower unit. 😬
Weiss lake in Cherokee County Alabama is nothing but cotton fields and old house ruins if you get out of the channel and I've went from 50' to 2' in a second.
That would be scary!
But hey, they caught a 3 pound bass....totally worth it.

Spinning a hub dosent cost THOUSANDS nor does it almost sink a boat lol. Lower units are designed to sheer hubs in case of contact with debris. Done it many of times when they were letting water into AZ lakes or after a big rain, i learned to always carry a spare prop and hubs. Now you hit a stump with the lower unit you’ll rip the engine in two
We didn’t spin the hub. Took out the lower unit. That cost multiple thousands. Almost sinking the boat cost 10s of thousands actually.

Appreciate the guts to post this. It shows we’re all human and no matter what you do sometimes something just under the surface can ruin your day. Our waters here in Texas, at least our lake, you can’t see your bait below 6” from the surface. I’ve got a little bass tracker w an outboard and we crossed some areas only 12” deep and one at .08 we pushed with a paddle to get into some pockets. Certainly bumped some things here and there but at $14,000 it left me a ton of money to buy gear. See $60,000 plus boats out there all the time and they don’t go where I do. My kayak is my backup for those “after big storms and rain” times. Too much debris in the water. Happy fishing all!

Perfect example of too much money and not enough brains. Use your forward looking sonar and don't blast through areas that you aren't familiar with. I bet $50 neither has completed a boaters safety course.
You can just Venmo me the 50$ since you lost that bet. Can’t use FFS at speed. Works best under 3mph. Blasting through the river channel which is the safe thing to do on missouri lakes. Turns out this specific area on has gotten many people in the past since there are trees growing in the channel. We were in 60 ft of water and a couple hundred yards from the shore. If you know anything about Missouri fishing that is 99.999% of the time a safe place to run. We just found the .001% trees

Sonetimes you just cant avoid them because you cant see them. This is what you call an accident. If the water isnt clear enough to see the tree, there's no way to know its there.

After this weekend on Tablerock it is number 1 to us! Fast, smooth, agile! Not very often can you get a fast agile boat that is smooth/ a smooth agile boat that is fast/ or a fast smooth boat that is agile. We have all 3!
