Steel City Con trip, PA Roadside Attractions, and some retro scratch & sniff!
Welcome Back, Allies!
In this episode, Jim takes a solo trip to the Pittsburgh area for Steel City Con, and visits several stops along State Route 30 - or, "Old Lincoln Highway" as it is known, to visit some of the roadside oddities and attractions of a bygone era that seems to have gone extinct in the 80's. The guys also do their annual tribute to the seasonal monster cereals that we all loved in our youth, this time saving their stomachs and tickleing their nasal passages with some retro scratch and sniff stickers from Everything Smells. Plus, our normal nonsense as Blue Flamer's lack of car knowledge spurs an appearance from LarMan, Your Public Service Announcement Officer, much to the ...

We always look forward to your reviews, 80s Allies! Glad to hear many of the stickers in this pack were a hit for you! 🥳Thank you so much for your continued support of our Retro Collection.
wow have things have changed
Dude! I just learned my name is on that page as he used an image of a rare Item i have. Pretty sweet!
great job Jim! I ordered my set today. Can't wait to smell them. A lot of them so far in the releases have been different. But I am overjoyed that they've kept the artwork EXACT and have been making new products with them again, and have had great social media presence, and respond to us and everything. They have passion for it, because of us!!! I LOVE THAT! :)
Did you open them yet?
@@Jim_NorcrossI just got shipment notification today
"promo sm"
Thanks so much, Jim! I just love your reviews. Got mine the other day and agree completely with your review. I love how you add the "extra" info about the original line. Now if we could just get Spearmint Frog in the next round...
I'm really hopeful for that one, also. I'm actually surprised, given how popular the spearmint frog was back in the day, that he hasn't been reissued already.
Hi Jim! Thanks for review! Got mine yesterday but didn’t open them yet.
I'm anxious to hear what you think of them.
FIRST!
Peter cullen Win awards❤😢
Bidenomics suck Edit to add: shit rolls downhill. Larry should know this quite well 😉 Great show guys. 👍🏻
That’s a Man’s Drink! 😂😂 gets me laughing every time.
I will be sending my bill to hr......🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
HR?!!! When did we get THAT budget?!
I'd like to mention they saved the stage in Northridge because of my friend, Logan's, petition. He was even flown out by the company to attend the grand reopening.
That's reallly cool! It's good to hear that the fan community is working in solidarity to keep these things alive.
All them SkyStrikers ! Dayem
it was a great speech
my dog ate a nerf ball whole when i was a kid
I really need to find a dino hunters Rex and vehicle complete or otherwise and to really find my mint carded L&F Tripwire and my mint carded Night Force two pack a guy robbed me of.😞
I emailed them like 2 years ago begging them to bring them back!!! I'm sure it wasn't my email that brought them back..lol but soooo happy they did. First round is set to arrive soon! P.S. If you email them and ask nicely they will send you a promo code.😊
Thanks for the review of our Retro Scratch 'n Sniff Stinky Stickers, Jim! 😄
Thank you so much for bringing them back!!❤
It's been a delight! @@loripressley-m8j
You can definitely smell them through the packs!!!!
Great review. My husband has ordered them for me. Looking forward to receiving them 😀
I’m hearing that the scent doesn’t last. Dissipates not long after they’re opened. How are you finding them now?
So far, so good. They are holding up as I would expect them to.
Trend enterprises commented on social media that there is more to come 😃
Great video review Jim!! I can hardly wait to receive mine-it should be any day!
Stinky Stickers and other brands were massively popular in England during the 80s.
Was awesome!! Saw it live. (Gerrit here)
God sitting through this was ruff.
Jim, you crazy sob. How do I not see you for well over a decade and then randomly find you on youtube?.. small world. Hope you are doing well.
I always shop at Eternia Dreams. Plan on grabbing a few rare figures from them next month. But I must say that Girl that works there though at the new mall location is quite clueless the one always at the register the short one. Spent 400 bucks there last Month and she gave me wrong receipt.. she always seems in a bad mood it always makes my mood go from good to bad after she waits on me
So Cool I'd love to reflock my mossman
𝕡𝐫o𝕄o𝔰𝓶 ⭐
Mattel/hot wheels collectors has had the same problem for years , no matter how much the collectors complain about it they can’t seem to figure out how it happens I can only chalk it up to big companies don’t care
Allan how can I get an Eternia Dreams tshirt I was there last Friday and spent $300 on Motu and GI Joe
Hi Kirk! Allan doesn't necessarily see the comments here as he doesn't always visit our channel. Having said that, I know he generally has some in stock at the store and the bulk can be ordered online...but I'm not entirely sure of the website they are on. If you check with the EterniaDreams Sales Team page on Facebook they can absolutely help you. I hope that helps. ~ Jim
@@80s-Allies thanks headed back again there tomorrow to pickup somebmore figures
Cool!
Also the ending is going to blow you away
Y’all are a little late I don watched the whole thing already
I used to love those cereals as a kid! I guess it's better to remember them than to actually eat them 🤣 Ever drink those little hugs juice barrels? It's kind of the same with those, used to love them but now they taste like straight chemicals to me, yuck!!!
For those that see this, Ally Adrian believes Larry and I to be totally wrong about these cereals and has been questioning my pallete for the last 12 hours.
Wow, awesome video! You guys had me cracking up and lots of good information! If I start collecting Robo Force, I'm blaming you all! 😂
I'm going on record saying that now is the time to buy RoboForce. If that new stuff kicks off, the old line will explode in terms of value.
Hey IK you!!! We love you very much and congratulations on making an amazing impression at the expo!! I have to say my favorites are the ones you've made your nephews and niece!! But the stay puft marshmallow man is my favorite after them. Love you xoxo
I hope they put she ru in it
The loser of the bet should have to shave their head !!!!
No.
How passé
I’ve been dying to see this movie since the first teaser the problem with that other Ghostbusters movie was honestly the story just sucked ,it was a literal rehash of the original. Ghostbusters afterlife actually looks like a worthy successor
Uhm I think you've got that wrong. Netflix shut Kevin Smith up because of Netflix losing viewers. Uhm...that star wars girl, mecha, geeky sparkles, my wife haaaates Revelations. She's an ex model who could identify with Teela, Sorceress and She-ra from the 80s. As I watch this video the more angry I get. So let me give you the problem. I'm from South Africa. I was BORN 1980. I was born the wrong skin colour during apartheid. Which only ended 1992. While usa and everyone else sanctioned us. I didn't know what a pair of nikes was till 1995. From birth i couldn't walk on a white beach, I didn't know what it was like to have more that 100 times what I have today. But we had cartoons, we had toys. So my parents bought these things to keep me at home and safe. I invested my heart into he-man because the only thing we had was hope. There was a song we got arrested for singing. "We shall overcome". When Nelson Mandela was set free 1990 not only did he have a bloodless civil war, he demanded peace between white and black. He became president in 1994. We had our freedom. I compared him to our He-man because he embodied what it was to be a hero. I studied i became a psychiatrist so that I could help those who were traumatized by apartheid. I had he-man but what did everyone else have? He-man is a symbol of hope we may not reach but aspire to. We had every reason to hate the white man but Nelson Mandela showed us we can't blame the many for the acts of a few. To the cartoon now we find it insulting that they cannibalize already established or created characters and make them black to tokenise us and act like it's doing us a favour. I'm not African American. I'm African. I wasn't born in a first world country. It's like throwing a dog a bone. Most women can't identify with teela because adults don't act like Teela does in revelations. We set aside our differences for the moment when a loved one dies. We mourn together. No matter how much you dislike someone at a funeral all of you support each other. Teela teaches us its okay to be self absorbed. To be disrespectful to your elders, your father and that you can talk down to men. Something my wife who's from New Zealand and a liberal refuses to have our kids learn. Non binary and gender swapping is not something you want your kids to learn about. I never want my children to ever doubt who they are. Their personalities are set and they should be able to know the difference between right and wrong. Everything about this show is setup up to make the fans angry. Yes we are invested because of he-man, Luke Skywalker, superman that we had hope and understand a heroes journey because parents should be their children's hero. Mine are. I've invested in the everyone toyline 1980s, 1990s, 200x, classics, neca, origins and pop culture shock and my kids have those toys too. Because the 1980s shoe may have had cheesy moments but the morals were there. We regressed into a society where identifying your individuality is a crime. No the fandom isn't a minor group. And its not only when with beards. You should look again. You really need to understand what you're watching before you post something. What happened to the days of what makes you different makes you beautiful. Now it encourages people to believe being unhealthy and fat is the same thing as healthy and fit. That a man who feels is a woman is a woman. Genetics decides gender. How you feel inside is psychological. These kinds of shows tells women they are better than men and men should get out of the picture. Well he-man defended Eternia for 130 eps skeletor never won. No one died. Teela 5 episodes only men died and Skeletor became master of the universe. He-man the main character is sidelined and Grayskull is a hologram. If you ever want to deconstruct the original show this is how you do it. When art is put out there it doesn't belong to the owner anymore it belongs to the fans. And remember theres a thing as cannon
I agree 100%, man.
I like Revelation quite a lot. They’re flexing that deep MOTU bench.
Oh quick tip, the background music is a bit loud.
I had the same, "I want more reaction". It was a fun show, didn't absolutely blow my mind, but I really enjoyed it. I was a fan of the original show, but when the movie came out it was really different to the show and I loved it too. If any franchise has proven that taking a different look at an IP can be executed well, then it's He man, that movie was awesome. So revelations being different was not a huge deal to me.
