Right on 👍🏼 even tho trail 30 is a green trail, there are some sections that are super steep, especially if you start out over by wolf creek staging area

FYI You were not on Hwy 108 Sonora Pass that is Hwy 4 over Ebbetts Pass! I know that Hwy Very well & know Hwy 108 Sonora Pass Vey well too. If you had gone over to Markleeville on Hwy4/89 There is Grover Hot Spring State Park with a big meadow & You can stay in the Hot Springs until 8 Pm. Note the Hot Springs is closed on Wednesdays for Cleaning. But the State Park is still open
