@@predatorproductionllc Its really tough for kids to maintain that kind of coverage against a good QB and receivers. QBs need to feel heat!

there is not tackling in flag nor charging in flag. you can "body up" but its at the reffs discretion if he want the throw the flag for unnecessary roughness on either side of the ball. some leagues and events you can stiff arm, but not to the head and/or neck area.

@@predatorproductionllc Thanks. I coach youth flag, NFL Flag and other leagues, and the youth refs would flag so many of these plays! Guess the refs are more lenient here!

Yeah, just blocking and bumps, but no tackles. I prefer it over regular/non contact flag football, more dynamic

Roughing, I believe, is a 5-yard penalty I believe and an automatic 1st. Illegal forward pass is a loss of down. I'm not sure if they lose yardage either.

@predatorproductionllc I didn't mean the penalty. I meant if it defined incidental contact..I actually used a clip to share with our league...the QB changed directions last second. The defender didn't have time to react. To me it's akin to a basketball player lowering his shoulder to drive to the basket. The rules I have seen, the rusher is entitled to a PATH but it is not expanded upon once the eligibles have left the LOS. In this case the QB changed direction into the direction of the defender with shoulder lowered. In most cases charging would be called. On the illegal forward pass...it was hard to tell from the angle but I didn't think he crossed the LOS. Just hard too tell and the coaches clearly thought he was behind the LOS and had a much better angle than the ref that threw the flag

Either way make no difference now. I do however really appreciate you putting this content out! You do a great job!

Absolutely understandable. And yes, a flag can be thrown on the offensive player for "leading with the shoulder"

Coaching doesn't matter to people who give half effort or to people who make the same mistakes week after week. No matter how good the coaching is or isn't, the players' lack of execution and discipline will be the downfall of any team.

The athlete on the outside isn't the problem. It's the person throwing the ball. Ball placement was horrible all night, be it under or overthrowing the receivers.

Absolutely. But not by much. The difference is that the WRs got faster and rotations on the Dline are needed because how much faster the offenses have become.

@@predatorproductionllc Interesting. Do most of these teams have set playbooks or mostly call plays on the fly? It seems like plays take a lot longer to call than youth non-contract where everyone has wristbands.

@reddhole3422 both. Each team is ram different. Some have an offensive coordinator, some have coaches, some have the QB calling plays, and some have the center calling plays. It's a mixed bag, to be honest.

if they were indoors, we did not film them. its only 2 of us so we couldn't get every game.

Yeah. All teams did. They played pool play , then got separated into 2 brackets.
