    I have no ability nor space to have water canned. What I do have is Shungite. I bought it from Russia years ago, after learning, water, once it runs over Shungite, purifies it. I use tap water in a Coleman water container, I put my Shungite gravel in a gause cloth, tie it at the top then fill about 2 litres into the pot. As the Coleman has a bottom outlet, I just leave the water overnight, take out the needed amount of water as needed, and use it. It tastes wonderful. Soldiers in wars, years ago had Shungite given them in their soldiers pack, to run water over, and they had pure water. God blessed me with this info, and I gladly share it.

    Thank you for your video. I do have a suggestion. Perhaps a different camera angle because we couldn't see how you were slicing the onions nor could we see how much water you used to cover the onions. We are seeing your hands and arms, but not seeing the food you are working with. Also, I don't can, so I'm not sure what you mean by "sanitizing" the jars. Not all viewers have the same level of knowledge, so I don't think you can add too much detail.

      Yes. The more it devours the sugars out of the milk the more curdly it will be. It also matters as to how many grains you have. The more grains the quicker it uses up the sugars. Try not setting it out so long

      Add more milk, shorten ferment. The fresh addition of milk will refresh and sweeten the sour kefir. Set on counter 12 hrs, then put in frig. I've also added MAPLE SYRUP at times.

    • @gailv2989
      @gailv2989 5 месяцев назад

      Try doing a second ferment. After you strain out the grains, add a bit of fruit to the jar and let it sit on the counter again for a few hours, before putting it in the fridge. I’ve used different berries, orange or lemon slices , dates. You only need a couple pieces. The microbes eat on the sugar in the fruit and the flavour of the kefir mellows and gets a little fizzy. PIt also boosts the vitamin content even more. You can reuse the fruit or peel for several batches.
