For Thief 2 which is pretty much more of 1 with some improvements, there is a modding community and not online can you make the game HD but also get seriously tons and tons of custom levels. Some of the custom levels are better than anything in the offical game! its worth looking into if you like the series. You can also get HD textures and resolution for 1 but imost of the modding community uses 2 as a base for levels and stuff. Thief 3 has mixed reception but I like it. Especially with, again, custom levels and stuff from the modding community (Thief fans like mods lol), but the base game is more akin to splinter cell than thief 1 and 2 in some ways...it has solid mechanics but the level design isn't as good as the first 2. also ya...thief 2014 is a tragedy. One of the most dissapointing reboots i've ever seen, it totally missed the point of the original games. It's like they were trying to ride the popularity of story-driven linear action games that was going on in the early 2010's...uncharted and stuff. sad.

I have a few used steam controllers. I do love them, used to play a lot of warframe, Steam Controller was perfect for that. However they do show their age, stick drift is a plague, i have 2 of them and both have it. Also its polling rate is quite bad i think, only 125hz. I do wonder how easy it would be to change their stick modules for magnetic ones.

Mentions multiple movies, continues to rave about the 80's... Only one of those mentioned actually came out during that time period. 🤦

Also, tthe game is quite easy when you realize you just need to trade for every key item whenever you hit a location with people and stop frequently snap pictures and get food and rest often.

I literally bought a Windows XP for the express purpose of playing my classic games. I played Amazon Trail, Oregon Trail, Duke Nukem 1 and quite a few others. Worth it! Thas a good idea!
