What is the best communication method to communicate with the interpreters when they are working an event?
I would say the most common way to communicate virtually is on Whatsapp or Google Chat.
In my opinion, I think you have a cassette that is recorded and it is deep inside your brain.

Regarding holding down the fort alone. Do not do it. The client has all day to find two other interpreters. Brian, great response! The brain and body gets damaged for sure if too much time is spent interpreting. AIIC studies show it.
