I agree with Julie, Great Job Tim! I enjoyed the time I worked there for the 10 years I did. Retirement is the best, spending time with family especially the grandkids! 😍
Your family was very respected ❤
Saw your mom @ the post office the other day ,made me smile ❤
Hi
I LOVED YOUR WHOLE FAMILY, ALWAYS SO NICE AND KIND ,ALWAYS SAID HINTO YOUR COSTUMERS❤
IT'S DEFINITELY NOT THE SAME ,YOU NEED A MAP NOW ,TO FIND ANYTHING, DOESN'T SMELL CLEAN @ ALL 😢 Meats no good😢
What an honor it was to be a part of the Wingert employee family while I was in HS. There are so many amazing memories I made there! Mr. Wingert, thank you for always taking the time to talk and listen when needed. He was a wonderful man. ❤ Many blessings to the family
A great store in a great town. Enjoyed working at the hardware and on the addition back in 05. Always great to go “where everyone knows your name.”
Great job Tim❤ Rob and I are proud to have been apart of the Wingert Family
Is that Alec Cutler? That Guy is a beast of a foreman.

You'd be hard pressed to find someone who loves their community and have given more to it than Paul.
She is an amazing lady. I am looking forward to watching this business grow!!
John’s a great guy. Like listening to an episode of This old house from the 80’s. He kept it simple
Great little interview and witches wax is amazing stuff

Those are nice energy heel trusses.
force feeding a cat is the worst😂😢

I love this level of drive and commitment in a young person to start a business. I'm self-employed also but that bug hasn't seemed to rub off on my kids yet, they enjoy money but not the process of acquiring it so much.
JJ has great hustle that’s hard to find in his generation. Proud of this dude!
JJ is the lawnmowing goat

Put the trades in fortnite and roblox
The minecraft generation may be our only hope
Trades/restaurant work/technician jobs all are going to be suffering bc everyone wants a RUclips career. 10 years in restaurants and I was making almost 100k when I was 25. 2 years as a tower technician making almost that much. My friends who went to college for dumb shit are making chump change and bartending. I have friends who went for real degrees for real jobs making closer to 150k. Moral of the story I guess is we need all these kinds of people and we need to stop funneling kids down one avenue or the other.
100%

Good idea
I wish I would have learned a trade when I was younger. I want my daughter to learn one even if she doesn’t make a career out of it. Just learn one because it’s handy to know. I don’t think I could build a bird house without it falling apart. I have an old Canoe I’d love to fix up but am not good at woodworking to be able to do it. Would be nice to be able to repair my own car. I did law enforcement in the military, but wish I’d have done something like HVAC or civil engineering. But I saw that as Security Forces in the Air Force I’d get to play with all manner of weapons and got excited about it.
Sounds like you had a pretty great gig, but it's definitely handy in life to know a couple trade skills.
As an honors student it was impossible to schedule electives like this. Theres already so few timeslots for either.
So many choices for high schoolers today!
Honors means nothing in the real world buddy
Great Episode!
Thanks!
Kids won’t work a trade cause they can’t impress people saying they work a trade, no. Kids today want a “career” making videos or working a “tech job” cause they think they’ll just sit back and do 3 hours of actual work each week. Programming will wear you out as you figure out 900 lines of code per day,
Coding is probably more exhausting than tiling floor most days. And you're right, the trades are not as fancy and shiny as tech work.
Love Larry's gym, 1life has supplied me with the necessary equipment and staff to transition myself into what I am today!
We love his gym too! Great job hitting your goals. Larry is an excellent coach.
When our daughter had her Rainbow Connection Wish back in 2019. Her wish was Disney. Luke reached out and told us hey get a hold of such and such at Gatorland he's a good buddy and I've got something special lined up for her. She got kinda behind the scene's access to the park and everyone knew who he was!! I will always be grateful to him! To see the smile on her face for just that day.. Special Dude
This is incredible. Thank you for sharing. Luke is a solid guy.
What?
This might be the perfect comment. Who knows what goes on in Corey's head!
“Have I?” Set the bullshit meter off
Yet it's true
@@SmallTownGrit slow day at the office?
Small town's are horrible, there's no work, there's no place to shop but Walmart, there's nothing to do, everybody I know is either a drunk or an addict because they're so depressed because of the above reasons. The best place to live is just outside of a big city
That's a fair assessment of one side of a small town, but we're going to show you the real success and good times that are also going on at the same time in that same small town
They knew you or at very least someone knew you parents name lol yup I grew up like that
Exactly!
Barb will know better but if I'm not mistaken Taylor Swift got her start on RUclips. Long before viral videos and RUclips stars were a thing.
Dads and brads and chads
All true lol
I went to the same church as Ernie Harwell in the early 2000's. Farmington First United Methodist! He and his wife were the nicest people you would ever meet.
