This came out in 2011. Wow. Didn't know he existed then. Didn't get my first cellphone with U-tube until maybe 7 or 8 years later. Still was on land line. Once I got a decent cell phone, one w/a screen, and internet, i got to expand my listening experience. Greatly, during Covid lockdown. I'm glad. The last couple years are years of discovery. Like a young Emily Lidge, and this man and his band. So much great music 🎵. Greatful for U-tube 🙏

Every time i try to sing this masterpiece a i feel a great emotion. What a amazing message and lyrics. And what a beautifull song. I love southern music, 'coz is a kind a music with pure essence of life : heart, soul, love, hope, faith. JJ Grey for me is a great artist, i know him looking a video on RUclips and i think:this man is wonderfull artist. This song it's a miracle, something so good, melanchonic, sad and necessery. There was no chance against his many kindred wings a fluttering about for his magesty's delight Blinded by trust and faith it was sight unseen until his beak danced straight into the depths of it's soul as the king sadly said I see ... I feel I understand I comprehend this loss ...wings anew guided his familiar Babybird back to his side.all hail the glory of the kingdom that was never meant to fit into.... Merely the Dodo bird ..

This song is by far one of my favorites with the exception of " The River." Both so beautifully written and sung with such grace and humblenss. They take to a place where I feel a connection with my Lord and Savior and for that I am SO grateful that I found this magnificent artist.
