She is phenomenal though I disagree with her in some aspects.Economics is like an airport baggage carousel. You may not catch your baggage at first round but you will ultimately get it. As she said, every past industrial revolution threatened job displacement but in the end all routine and non routine laborers got jobs somehow. This fourth industrial revolution may displace higher unskilled workers than previous revolutions but still will create many jobs never been needed before. No matter what revolution it is, it will not replace 100 % of all skills. Also, I disagree with her the fact that this fourth revolution will be threatening developed counties less than developing. In fact, those who are still in a first and second revolution will be fine as those counties could not afford to replace their economies with robots and big data anyways due to higher premium skills. As to the future Chinese success in leading the world through BRI, I am reluctant to say that it is working. For US, it worked since she was also exporting and demanding its values. BRI however is creating more corruption and resource mis allocation in third world counties and costing China more than a return on its investments.
