@@myself7265 no they are not joking, it is real. Sadly, you have to fuel your own accommodations and also transportations as well.

I also worried after hearing this. and those students got the mail cannot applying others saudi university also, so certainly this waiting is difficult.

I got an update saying there is no accommodation available. It says i will have to pay for my accommodation can u tell me how much is accommodation outside of university.

​@@maazahmed1481 - The minimum rent of a single room with kitchen, dining room & a bathroom in Jeddah varies 800-1200 riyal/ month and you have to pay the rent in every 3-6 months. So, you need to have at least 3600-7200 riyal in savings to take a rental home in Jeddah. This is only rent. The furnished home will cost more around 1500-2200 riyal/month. The electricity bill will cost 200-350 riyal/month. - You need to get Saudi driving license and purchase a car immediately since you will have classes to campus every 2/3 days/week. Saudi license will take 1200-1500 riyal to make, and a 2nd good hand car will take at least 20k riyal. In short, your scholarship of 1890 riyal will not be enough to sustain a minimum lifestyle in Jeddah. You will have to at least bring 1000-1500 riyal from your home (every month). Keeping in mind 890 riyal is your actual scholarship money and 1000 riyal will be delayed.

So you must bring at least 1500 riyals to sustain this time. 3- Food cost is no more than 500 riyal/month if you cook and eat outside occasionally. There is no other expenses. 4. Canteen is available in both campus and hostel. But it’s expensive and u can’t afford if you eat 3 meals/day in canteen.

After settling down here in saudi, getting iqama, student card tarpor umrah gesi

7.5 Saudi Riyals breakfast, 11.5 SR lunch, 11.5 SR dinner per day cost. You can choose anyone or all three, no problem. But the time for meals is fixed. If you go after time expires, you won’t get food. There is restaurant inside hostel and university as well.
