Shoulder MRI instability: Labrum, capsule, glenoid rim
The glenohumeral joint is the most commonly dislocated joint of the body and anterior instability is the most common type of shoulder instability. Magnetic resonance (MR) imaging, and more recently, MR arthrography, have become the essential investigation modalities of glenohumeral instability, especially for pre-procedure evaluation before arthroscopic surgery. Injuries associated with glenohumeral instability are variable, and can involve the bones, the labor-ligamentous components, or the rotator cuff.
This lesson reviews the relevant anatomy in brief, the MR imaging technique and the arthrographic technique, and describes the MR findings in each type of instability as well as common i...

MR Imaging the Postoperative Knee: Menisci and Ligaments
Просмотров 1,5 тыс.2 года назад
The surgical management of knee injuries has increased in recent years. Postoperative magnetic resonance (MR) imaging of the knee following surgical intervention serves an important role in the diagnostic evaluation of patients with recurrent or residual symptoms following surgical intervention. MR imaging additionally assists in the noninvasive documentation of temporal changes at the surgical...
Imaging Approach to Soft Tissue Masses: Focus on MR Imaging
Просмотров 3632 года назад
Soft-tissue masses derive from a wide spectrum of tissues, and it may be difficult to differentiate nonneoplastic from neoplastic as well as benign from malignant lesions, to say nothing of making a single histologic diagnosis on the basis of imaging. The purpose of this article is to discuss optimal MR imaging protocols and reporting of soft-tissue masses. #radiology #radiographs #Softtissuema...

Liver MRI - Frederic Pigneur, MD - CME CHT Gan
Просмотров 7486 лет назад
MRI is one of the most useful and rapidly developing diagnostic tools for the evaluation of liver pathologies. MRI allows acquisition of images with excellent tissue contrast and anatomical detail. It is particularly good at visualising liver tissue and is capable of detection and characterisation of focal liver lesions. The success of liver imaging mainly depends upon technique and optimizatio...
CT Coronary Artery (SIEMEN) - CT Động mạch Vành
Просмотров 8 тыс.6 лет назад
Computed tomography (CT) produces high-resolution cross-sectional imaging. Injection of contrast agent raises the density in the blood pool well above that of the vessel wall and surrounding tissue. Thus, CT “angiography” (CTA) can be performed. CT angiography of the coronary arteries poses some unique challenges. Given the small lumen of the coronary vessels (typically 1 to 4 mm) and their con...
CT Scan angiography of the thoracic aorta (SIEMEN) - CLVT Động mạch chủ ngực
Просмотров 83 тыс.6 лет назад
CT is the primary modality for evaluating abnormalities of the thoracic aorta. Multidetector CT, with its multiplanar capability, can be used to evaluate an aneurysm in any plane, determine its size and morphologic features, clarify its relationship to branch vessels, evaluate its effect on adjacent structures, and identify complications such as dissection and rupture. These options give multid...
CT Scan of the Cervical Spine (SIEMEN) - CLVT Cột sống cổ
Просмотров 12 тыс.6 лет назад
A cervical spine CT scan is a medical procedure that uses specialized X-ray equipment and computer imaging to create a visual model of your cervical spine. The cervical spine is the portion of the spine that runs through the neck. Because of this, the test is also called a neck CT scan. Your doctor may order this test if you’ve recently been in an accident or if you’re suffering from neck pain.

Yes, this scanner has a temporal resolution of 240ms but can get to 195ms using iTrim. It is VERY important to control ( beta block ) the rate on these systems because they are a bit slower. The Perspective also has ECG Check to help. The user should have run it BEFORE scanning and the system will evaluate the patients rate and suggest the best protocol. Too many things went bad on this study and should not be considered a teaching video.
