Tolles Motorrad - ich hatte auch eine. In weiß mit Telegabel, die dann später in der R 75/5 eingebaut war. 12 Volt, US-Ausführung. Ich würde bei dem Motorrad das Spiel der Kipphebel und das Ventilspiel prüfen - da tickert etwas. Auch könnten die Vergaser die "heißen" Beschleunigerpumpen gut vertragen (dann ist sie schneller auf Drehzahl und damit agiler. Stets gute Fahrt und jede Menge "Freude am Fahren"! 👍

I just got rid of my bone stock 1983 FXWG - the last “ full “ production year of the shovel . I’ve always wanted an 84’ to say that I have the “ Last of The Mohican’s “ ! Such a stellar job ! Nothing sounds like an old pan or shovel ! Peace ☮️

The European Mk2As came with the black cap mufflers. Not the peashooters. Maybe the U.S. market Mk2A bikes came with the traditional peashooters. This bike is immaculate.

I think it was in Fleet in Hampshire England in 1974, when I was 17 that I saw and fell in love with a commando identical to this, a pale blue metaflake roadster, dreaming drooling teenager that I was. I had ridden there with some friends on their Japanese bikes, while I was on my triumph 250 trophy single.

Such an outstanding bike. Like new!

I’d love to have a bike from the year I was born.

HI Dave would you know, or anyone here that has placed a comment know who would make a replacement wind screen like the one here on your Bike. I too have a 1984 FLH Electra Glide but it did not come with its original wind screen. Have seen the backets that come up on Ebay but none of the wind screens have been any good that I have seen.

100 % orig.?? Wrong seat for that year they came with the bigger buddy seat ,color matched bags were not avail in 69 they were only available in white. Nice restoration and nice repaint but not 100% orig.

I have the same bike. Bought new in Aug of 84 from Blaine HD in Minnesota ( no longer in biz). It’s on my bucket list to restore to how I bought it. It’s been a single seater since our second child in 89 but I still put on ~ 1k miles a year. Next to my 46 Indian, it’s my favorite

great engine, frame and suspension had an eye on military use, perhaps, not best for highway.
