When i listen to this song i can’t help but think about what i was before, my lost friendships, the person i loved at that time, the good times and the innocence of being a very young person; It’s bad to live in the past but how much I would give to have taken more advantage of each of those moments and not just think about growing up.

It reminds me of my childhood and i miss it so much 😭

Un immense merci à toi de tout l'univers d'avoir fait cette reprise. Je l'ai découvert seulement il y a 6 mois, en juin, grâce à un short dont je me souviendrai encore très longtemps dans ma vie. Cette musique est juste magnifique, le faisant ressortir des souvenirs nostalgiques très très loin, ou non, et il m'arrive même parfois de tirer une larme de bonheur et de tristesse lorsque je l'écoute. Il m'arrive de penser directement à cette version lorsque j'entends ou j'écoute la version originale tellement elle est splendide. Qui aurait crû qu'un remix "slowed to perfection" (les slowed faisant partie de mes remix préférés) de "As it was" serait aussi BANGER ? En tout cas, celle-ci dégage une aura si belle mêlant la nostalgie, le bonheur et la tristesse qui ne peut que réchauffer les cœurs, et nous faire (lâcher un) sourire.
