It's certainly got it's own unique style of mmo. The fact that progression is never lost when a new xpac comes out makes it quite a good game to come back to whenever you feel like it.

We ended up using a lan to play since we were next to each other, otherwise Hamachi and game ranger can usually be used to spoof a lan for older games like this.

@@KuroKiran but you had the original discs version, I assume. Cause the steam version doesn't even have the option to start the multiplayer, I think.. though I guess I would have to look for extra executables..

@@NoctisAttano Oh for the steam version we bought the steam version then we went and moved it out of the steam folder and replaced the executable for launching the game. it fixed the multiplayer issue. I think if you go to the steam forms or reddit you can find guides on how to do this for the game as well as places to get the expansion Legends of Aranna, Yesterhaven, and Return to Arohk
