glad you enjoyed it. you are spot on. nala is more adventurous and yuumi is much more cautious and terrified. yuumi is the better hunter by far though.

Love the tail - it's like a bottle brush. Not much interested in playing just now, it seems ... prefer to just lie around and be worshipped.
i call them feather dusters.. lol. they would be greatly useful cleaning between the blinds. the girls probably wouldn't appreciate it much though ;)

Seems like Nala is a bit smaller overall, or perhaps it's just the thickness of the fur.
nala does seem smaller, but amazingly, they weigh the same. yuumi's fur is definitely a lot thicker and she has more of it :)

nala was in the sun room in her 'top bunk' bed. yuumi normally waits for me to get up in the morning so i can 'put her to bed'.

How do they handle storms?
not phased at all most of the time. the rare times the house shakes, it gets their attention and they may bunker in the basement. today, they kept sleeping through the booms.

Do your Birmans as well get lighter in color during summer? I got a chocolate and seal, and the chocolate now has the nose pink instead of black and his mask got lot lighter 😅
that's really interesting w/ the nose turning pink! with these, their fur/points etc seem to be the same color... i have read with the light colored point cats, if you cut their fur close, it grows back very dark..
Birmans are wonderful, just a sweet soft meow, no whining.❤
