My wife grew up in nearby Ocean Falls, people there envied Bella Coola because there was a road out. We spent a week there in 2022 and did a day trip to Anaheim Lake, spectacular country.

I've been out to Zeballos many times. Beautiful area. I haven't been there in decades now, doesn't look much different, which very good to see!

Just remember to gear down to save your brakes or you won't have any at the bottom. Otherwise a great drive.

Well, yes it is steep, but not the whole way. I drove this road down and up on the same day, in the winter, rear wheel drive only and studded winter tires, no chains, no problems at all.

Grew up there 1954-67/68. It was a bustling little town then, Falconbridge Iron Mines, logging, gill netters in the harbour, ships from Japan coming in for the iron ore. Before that in the 30s the gold mining, Privateer Mines,Spud Valley etc. It had 2 hospitals through the valley, up at Privateer bowling alley etc. interesting history. Gold shut down when the war hit.

Finally catching up with your Oliver vid. as I wait for my van to get serviced... You really captured the essence of this small town imo and perfect chill tune. We should do this again.

Please enjoy all the time outside you can. In 3-4 weeks the same places will be locked down like the first time. So they learned nothing but the love of power following the WEF. Lucky i live in a dark red state. We stayed home for 2 weeks then all reopened again and went back to work and play.
