My husband and I gave our babies their names and we don’t hear them said often, if at all. Unless you hear about St. Jude’s hospital on the radio. He always find a way to remind me he with me 🤍. Of course they are in my thoughts everyday and I only say their names on a whisper but it’s nice to hear someone else acknowledge them. Makes me cry harder but gives me a bit of solace that they were real.. so thank you 😢❤💔🤍

Let me know if you need someone to "talk" to that first co-worker. I have MANY words for them.

I understand not knowing what to say, being afraid to say the wrong thing. I had an older, high risk colleague/friend, who confided in me that she had lost her baby's heartbeat, and had taken medication to medically induce, and asked me if it happened at work, if I'd be able to drive her to the nearest hospital. I was heartbroken for her, and her family, and was honoured that she trusted me. I ensured I had all directions to the two nearest hospitals, and kept tabs on her. She was good about telling me what she needed, but I privately wanted to ensure she knew that I felt for her and her loss. It was never my place to share with others at the office, but encouraged her to share with our boss at the time, who was a very wonderful man, as she may have needed time off. What I don’t understand, are the morons who make rude, insensitive or idiotic comments, how they have made it that far in life without a throat punch. I had to have an emergency hysterectomy. Upon return, a male manager (different one) asked me if it was a girl or a boy.... yep.. moron. Later in the year, suffering from nausea due to a terrible migraine, he said - you must be pregnant. I said ugh no, impossible. His reply, well you might be, you never know. I had to explain in short one syllable words, with crayons and drawings to this moron, that yes, I do know... it is impossible, because I do not have what is required to make a baby. It still bothers me, and I didnt lose a baby... that being said, I can’t imagine going back to work, and being faced with all that after such trauma. I'm so sorry to all those who have had to deal with morons.
