It is 2019 as I write this: a few years ago Ms. Chase was supposed to have said, Things get solved, and sorted out, over good food. "I surely do wish Mr. Trump would come here and have a nice bowl of gumbo.."

Although I grew up and lived in New Orleans during the 1950's and 60's, and traveled along Claiborne Avenue on a frequent basis, before and after the I-10 corridor was built, I did not know of its significance, nor history, well until I viewed this video. Thank you so much. It has added another dimension to my knowledge of my hometown. I even remember the area behind the home where we lived on Gravier Street that included both the rail lines into and out of the city, along with a canal waterway before the construction of the I-10. I have looked for photos of that area but have never found any.
