i really wanted to share this song because even if it's not nqrse-san's most well-known song, it's always been my favourite. the lyrics are so uplifting and relatable, and i've found comfort in them during many tough times throughout the years, but i've never seen an english translation online before.
that being said, all of the translations were done by yours truly, and my japanese is nowhere near perfect, so sorry if there are any mistakes. please feel free to leave any corrections in the comments!

love love love this song for all the same reasons you do but being able to read along in english is kinda enlightening me to more reasons as we speak... like, even in 2013, nqrse had that fingerprint as a lyricist. when it hits 1:08 i can't help but think of a similar line from byoushin, 2:31 reminds me of lemonade.. my list could keep going on going on going on going on...
i know, right?! in my opinion, his song-writing ability is truly one of a kind, and to think that he started writing songs like this when he was so young... (i think he would have been only 18 years old in 2013!) i actually have this theory that people who have been a fan of his for a long time and have studied his music and lyrics could probably tell if a song is his or not just by looking at the patterns in the lyrics. of course there's his incredible control of rhyme and rhythm that makes him so great as a rapper, as well as his evocative imagery and story-telling, but there's also his very distinctive usage of wordplay and double entendres! even now, i have moments when i'm listening to his songs where i think i may have discovered something new! with grunt, it was only recently that i started thinking there might be a double-meaning behind the word "enter" in the line that starts at 2:23 (enter in the usual sense vs enter as in the key on your keyboard, often marking the end of a process and the start of something new). and of course, i'm always unsure of whether or not i'm reading too much into things or if certain things only sound a certain way to me because i'm not a native japanese speaker, but this feeling really motivates me to learn more japanese! my hope is that as my japanese improves, i'll be able to see these lyrics from a point of view that is closer and closer to that of the lyricist himself. anyway, sorry for rambling for so long, i was just so glad to see someone else who has such a deep appreciation for his lyrics that it really brought out the otaku in me 😅 thank you so much for your comments! <3
