If SSSniperWolf Had a TV Show... (Ridiculousness)
My take on one of MTV's schlockiest shlocks to ever shlock your screens. Ridiculousness is a reaction channel that provides commentary on online content. It's the Funniest Home Video's we didn't ask for, but exists anyways. You could definitely just be a youtube channel, but hey, you do you boo.

A reflective analysis of Carol and the End of the World (episode 1 and 2). This limited series on Netflix has a lot to offer, and I wanted to explore some of the ideas this show unravels, and an ideology that resonates strongly with my own thoughts on the subject of what we place value in when it comes to the end of our rope. Do we have to do amazing and jaw-dropping things to have lived a full...

Great question! RUclips is a very casual hobby of mine, and I normally just create whatever interests me at the time: hence Un-Professional-Creations. My channel is not viable for making a platform since I don’t stick to one genre of content, but that’s okay with me because I’m not looking to become successful on RUclips, it’s just for fun and to share with friends (and whoever else pops around). I’m glad you and lots of people enjoyed this video, and my recent video “Meaningless Meaning” has a similar kind of vibe if you’re interested! Otherwise I can’t make no promises about what I’ll do next, so sorry about that 🫤

He had his human self modified by robot parts that must have been recycled which eventually became parasitic and took over his own life. He started to think he originated as a robot. Key scene is the modified skin bit where his red muscles are shown, so he must've actually been human.

I will say its nice to see a robot story that doesnt turn evil. Not saying those story are bad. But Zima Blue has this weird blend speculative science fiction and spiritual ponderings. This personally has a weird impact for me. The art design for this episode was the same for a show i watched when I was younger Tron: Uprising. This weird chance for my adult self to watch this episode wondering why it feels so familiar hits with the thematic nature of Zima. Zima was pursuing the color of blue he first saw cleaning the pool. For me I forgot a cartoon i really enjoyed and seeing its art direction and style coming back after all these years. Anyway thanks for listening to this rambling of mine.

i think it reflects how us humans long for satisfaction we have when we were young, before we used to dream of becoming adults so that we could do whatever we want, we buy things, we watch tv, we do what we can to make us happy, now there is still an emptiness inside, thats when we realize that being a child is the most perfect time of our life

I often describe it a very zen like end for Zima. I feel him on a spiritual level and while the rational part of me finds it illogical, the emotional part can't help but be awed by his sacrifice for greater purpose and meaning as he saw it.

When your a baby life is simple, pure, not complex so it would make sense he would wanrto return to that near mindless state. Think about it like this your probably watching this on your phone right now or tablet, this device dose so many things but lets say s baby rattle suddenly appears to you what is your first instinct? You pick it up snd shake it! Do you get pleasure from that? The answer is yes. Even if you say no your lying to yourself. You like playing with thst toy why? Because its simple and simple things sre nice. Thats my thoughts atleast

His story rings very true to Zen and Dao appreciators. Seeking constent fulfillment brought nothing but confusion to Zema. But by shedding his higher intelegence letting go of thought and desire and returning to simplicity he became whole. He is Zema Blue and the only way for him to truly live his life fully was to return to his nature, a pool cleaning robot.

i find myself envious of zima's ability to know the thing that will bring him happiness and mourn that i don't believe i could ever achieve that sort of peace. because he absolutely gave up his human complexity in order to achieve it. i hate the message this is sending me. how can something so much more advanced and capable than me also still find life so meaningless? it makes me want to have had a creator who could have given me a purpose worth giving up my humanity for. because i don't want to end this so negatively, i kept this open trying to find some solace in all of this heart ache for a good while. evolution, the insatiable itch of life, that is my curse and in this story humans were able to even spread it to a machine. and look at what it prompted him to accomplish. i like being human.

This brings up a great point, one that I'm actually exploring in my current project i'm filming 😅 Its a totally valid takeaway from the episode, and a universal struggle with consciousness. But, my takeaway was that he realized that meaning in life is a much more simple and fundamental thing that we often already have, but aren't satisfied with (in which I think the episode paints as a side-effect of being an intelligent lifeform), or we miss it entirely. A lot of people live their lives working day to day, and they are content with it because they have contributed and I think it's important to recognize that as a valuable outlook. More often then not, the more creative you are, the more unsatisfied you are with the simple nuances of day to day living. There's a lot of ways to fulfill this, and for me it is making music and videos. But its always easier said then done, sometimes we look too far ahead, or we look too closely at what we already have. Its the constant battle between "meaningless" and "meaningful" that we all face throughout our entire lives. I'm sorry you're still looking for that, and I hope you find it soon. Just please never give up on it! Every day is a chance to discover what you're missing, or to grow what you already have. You can do it!

i believe that the whole point of this piece is to show the futile efforts people go through to seek satisfaction. even upon achieving his life’s goal ,understanding the meaning of life, zima still has nothing. he realises that it is pointless and his life is better spent subconsciously cleaning a pool than doing anything else as this is what he was made to do.

Her perspective makes Zima seem like this all mighty and legendary figure. Zima is a robot that was created, upgraded, learned everything he could and decided to go back to the simple mundane life of cleaning pools because it limited him enough to appreciate his surroundings. I find this hard to relate with humans because we aren’t instantly born with tasks at hand. You could say, this form of AI (Zima) was able to capture the attention and admiration of humans for years with a simple blue tile, learning the simplistic origination of Zima blue was just… the walls of a pool. An amazing story.
