I'll stick with using a bead blaster and actually make it look new again.

What cleaner did you use in the ultrasonic cleaner.
There are a lot of negative comments on here and first I'd like to point out that the coins definitely do look cleaner after. Yes cleaning solutions may be more effective than water, but these work on cavitation so it isn't always necessary. Also blue solution isn't much anything special, it's only looks "drastic" since it is only cleaning the polish from clean and just polished jewelry.
Maybe a video using cleaning solution would work better
need to put the FORBIDDEN GATORADE solution
Acetone
Acetone is flammable and ultrasonic cleaners generate a lot of heat. Therefore acetone + ultrasonic cleaner = explosion.
Can I ask why you used the mixture you did? I genuinely want to know.
using home-made cleaning solution would work better ... a mixture of >>> ammonia ... dish washing liquid ... and distilled water
Nothing makes stuff sparkle more than ammonia and bleach
just water will not do anything.....
Not putting in any cleaning solution does nothing

I got really surprised at the difference after drying it. all the remaining dirt was loose. now its the shiniest coin in the collection :D

Water and about 10% cleaning vinegar, did even a better job on the next video. trying to get my hands on all the dirty silver I can get now.

Have you ever tried cleaning silver cutlery in this ? I’m considering getting one to basically clean anything silver or gold (including cutlery) as well as jewelry, pens, and other various items. My biggest interest is the silver cutlery with the water and dawn solution. And if another solution would work
Just so happens I have an extremely dirty silver coin I'm throwing in this weekend. Going to use some cleaning vinegar for it. If that doesn't work I could get some dish soap to test it with.
I now used allot more cleaning vinegar on a Silver Spoon, not a great result I won't use acids on silver any more.
Definitely got a few crusty bits off.. maybe a little citric acid in the water might speed up the process a bit...

Earplug or you scream loud. The microphone doesn't pick up the highest frequencies, those are the worst.
Looks like it worked pretty well.. I use acetone..it works very well😁
Going to look for some more nice crusty processors and clean them with some mixtures. I was a bit disappointed by the result.
