Hi I'm going to this salon for my birthday. How were you able to book with Robin? I am weary of going to a salon and I only want here to do it lol

Oh, and NONE of the girls I know who get their hair done here have issues with the humidity/swelling. Always been a mystery to me. I thought it was because their hair was damaged/ trained to be straight, but now I'm not so sure....:)

I know this is an old video, but I wanted to chime in anyway. I used to criticize girls who got their hair straightened here because I felt that they were afraid to experience their natural hair texture and were addicted to straight hair (I still think this). HOWEVER, I will say that I had my hair straightened here once a few months ago. The process was very gentle (I have very dense, kinky arm pit length hair) and my hair stayed straight for more than THREE WEEKS! I was afraid that it was burnt/damaged and wouldn't revert back, but there was NO damage AT ALL. I respect Mrs. Robin's training and technique even if I don't straighten often.

It is so incredibly humid in Atlanta - which usually means straighten hair does not stay straight for very long without adding chemicals.
