She was certainly promiscuous but never a hypocrite. A very misunderstood personage destroyed by Jack Warner, the three most read biddies that had newspaper columns to print their lies and most of all Erwin Lee Redfield, her father.

Rosemary Murphy was an exceptional actress-her concentration in character is about as strong as you'll ever see in the acting world. She was unflappable- also tall and naturally graceful. And in real life , she was almost as dramatic as on stage and the most lovely sincere person you'd ever know. And when she laughed, a deep delighted laugh, the whole room felt it resonate. Thank you Ms. Murphy. You are missed.

My uncle James (my name sake) was on the Scorpion when she was lost in the Yellow Sea in 1944. His mother (my grandma) always thought he was still alive and was stranded on some remote island somewhere in the South Pacific Ocean. She believed that until the day she passed in 1985. (I guess it was her way of dealing with the grief) JUST waiting for the day when the "Lost 52 Project" claims to have found her remains .. many thanks for the video and the history of the Scorpion.
