I'm using this channel to document my progression in the shooting sports. I shot my first handgun back in 2013 and shortly after that fateful day I started competing in USPSA. After about 3-4 years, I had reached A class in Production division and was really starting to see big progress being made to take that next step. Unfortunately, I had to stop shooting due to my career getting incredibly busy.
So here we are 6 years since I stopped competing and practicing and I got the itch to compete again. I shot a handful of USPSA matches in 2020 in and now I'm back in 2024 ready to see how far I can take my shooting skills.

Great video! What camera are you using?
@@Patrick-is4ym the new 4k insta360 go 3s
Very nice
@@davidhelms7944 🤙 thanks
You so goooood. This me my fav vids no cap
Touch my what???
That's impressive. Do you know what you were starting at in the beginning of the year?
In the mid 1.90s
this dril sounds like the thanos beatbox
😁😁
Nice job! I tried that recently and managed a .83 first try (production; G17)
That's pretty quick!
What’d that thing do to her 😂
Flirted with me probably 🤣
Nice
🤙🤙
Daaaaamn
🤙🤙
Wicked fast! What all have you done to that Prodigy?
Cheely E2 grip, EGW ignition kit, 8# recoil spring, 19# main spring are the main parts
@@lourenova wow, 8# recoil spring is light. Do you shoot handloads?
124 grain of either Hand loads that are going about 1080 fps or some Super Vels that are going about 1050 fps
Is that .380 super or 9mm? Pistol has like 0 recoil. 🤘🤘🤘
Super Vel 9mm 🤙
0.85 in a row is impressive dude, good job!
Took a lot of dry fire practice to get it there 🤙
I have the GO 3 and they’re awesome for pew pew.
I'm really digging this camera so far
FIRST POST
Lol get outta here James 😂 hope you've been well bro
My mama was deadly with my 45 acp . Never shot a pistol in her life . Could hit a coffee can every time at 25 paces.
Dear lord
Remember folks in a real situation your target doesn't stand still
This isnt a defensive mindset kinda video. The point was to draw fast from my competition holster. So what even is your point?
Wicked fast dude! Be honest with me, are you seeing your dot at that speed, or just presenting to the target and pulling the trigger?
No sights at all just index shooting. I was just seeing how fast I could go. It's good to feel what fast feels like
Which of these guns do you think shoot better? I’m a huge fan of S2s and 2011s, and have had a hard time deciding which route to go. I’m totally aware that a 2011 puts my in LO instead of CO
Quick. Nicely done.
🤙🤙
So whats the point of timing a mag dump?
For fun!
That reload though
🤙🤙
Dang, grass on a range? I wouldn't know how to act.
lol! it is nice to have it when it is there! this range had 50/50 grass and gravel
Such a killer couple of setups… How do you like that comp hammer in the S2 compared to the stock one?
TBH I haven't shot it enough to tell the difference. My old stock S2 has a great trigger that I did myself and never had problems setting off primers. So far this trigger on the cz custom S2 feels great!
That magwell has gotten some use and done it's job.
Oh yes! They get extra beat up in dry fire 🤙
Dang epic shred with the Shadow damn! I really like CZ and the shadows for sure. Hope the Tulsa match went well.
Man every time I shoot that pistol it makes me want to start competing with it again. Here's the Match video! ruclips.net/video/imH2FYTvrg8/видео.htmlsi=U2eJ29qS10i_lcFR
great videos in general. i like that you stick to mostly just one drill per training session.
Thank you! I feel like I don't learn anything from the drill unless I shoot it for a few hundred rounds while analyzing myself throughout the process.
I CAN FEEL IT CALLIN N THE AIR TONIGHT
I can't unhear that now while rewatching this vid 🤣
The sign specifically told you not to shoot, and then you proceeded to unload?!
You are a very smart man indeed😂😂
😂😂😅
ب
🤔
Solid run. That shot on the move and transition was awesome 👍
thanks!!! I keep rewatching it and seeing where i could have made up some time to go faster. First place ran a 11.68
Do you shave your arms?
nah just my cheeks
Why are you only shooting the brown ones?
Why are they only shooting the brown targets :p
LOL!
Solid training 🤙🏻
Thank you!! Been going weekly for the last 2 months now
Violrt is trying hard not to be seen. Hahahahaha
What's awesome is if you're watching closely, you can see the bullet after it exits the barrel
i need to get a slomo cam
Damn, nice! I want to do something similar to my RIA 10mm double stack 1911.
Do it! It took my prodigy to another level
Did you figure out the stoppage cause?
Not yet. I'll be taking the extractor off and giving it a good cleaning. I'll also load some shorter rounds and take it out again for some test fire soon.
Not bad for the first time
She was incredible for being her first time. Didn't take much time and instruction to get to that point
@@lourenovaI bet her farts smell amazing
Not as good as mine. I can promise you that
You got that scoop draw down!
Been hammering it in dry fire. Chasing speed with my par time set to 0.50
The best part about your vids is you’re so damn handsome!
We need to practice together again soon!
@@lourenova absolutely!!
I have a prodigy and Staccato-p. Never had any problems with my prodigy, but wish i just saved the 1500 and just bought the Staccato-p. It shoots great, just the staccato is on another level.
I spent probably about 1k on the prodigy build out and it runs just as fast and well as a Staccato does. Id rather spend the extra 1k on ammo
@lourenova well if you spent 1k on the build, then you spent 2500 all together, which is what a staccato cost, cause the prodigy is 1500. So you got the same gun for 2500, but you had to build it to get it as good.
@@breeze7863 If I bought a Staccato tho, i would still not have an aluminum grip, XL magwell, extended mag release and a flat trigger. So at $2500, I would still spend close to 1k getting all that done to it. When you buy a Staccato you are very much paying extra for the name and marketing behind the brand.
@lourenova I agree, but you're also paying for reliability, better parts by a mile and the name known for reliability. Even tho I haven't had a problem out of my Prodigy, they are known for problems. I can't trust my life with it. I trust the staccato-p. Again, do you, everyone has their preference. God bless.
@@breeze7863 Well thankfully my Prodigy has 3k rounds with it and the only malfunctions have been ammo induced. I also just play in USPSA with mine
Is there a certain type of lead that shatters on impact? Is it the grain?
no clue! lol
Guns are all starting to look like video game control apparatus.
USPSA guns have looked like this for decades
I've been looking for some magwells to add to my Pridogy, but I need some that is atleast 2 times the size of yours, have you seen any?
Impossible! Mines already the biggest magwell in existence
@@lourenova Maybe I can just 3D print one
@@HamFlare_Vintage please tag me when you do. Like all men..... Mine could be bigger!
@@lourenova Alright.
I'll make this my ringtone
Please do lol
🔥 🔥
I can shoot a bow faster than that ....guns are slow
Please film it and send me the video! I would actually love to see how fast a bow can shoot. Ive never shot one
Great drill! Love the grip on the prodigy. Just sub’d. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks to the sub!!! This Cheely grip is pretty incredible
@@lourenova no worries. Gotta support the community
