What is wrong with her pronunciation? And she doesn't flow from word to word it is almost staccato like. So glad they have Floor now.

But you admit that she was the best singer of the band, right? Her voice was the most incredible of all who passed through the band until today, of course the band is good and clear that Tarja is also, but they together are perfection. I describe it like this: They're something separate and EVERYTHING when are together.

Nigthwish with Tarja was awesome ! Now i think they would be better off giving Marco more to sing. The new girl isn't bad, but marco is better.

Everyone has their opinion, but Nightwish did not make Tarja, lol. She would have been great no matter where she went. She fit the mood of the band perfectly. Nightwish is no longer the same Nightwish they were with Tarja. That doesn't mean they suck now, but they aren't the same. IMO, they WERE great, now they are just good to listen to.

The singer cannot be the soul of the band while not writing any of the music/lyrics. The singer is simply the conduit in a band like this. Tuomas is the soul of Nightwish, not Tarja, not Anette. People can compare them all they want, people are free to prefer one over the other. There are as many opinions as their are people. The simple fact is, Nightwish is bigger than the singer, whoever it is.

You're being political. A singer is the soul of a band, it is the most recognizable sound of it. Remarkable. When you change it, you have two voices, who sounds so differently, that you naturally will compare them. And the first one (even if it was someone else) will be one level above.

I miss the old times with Nightwish.. They're songs with Tarja whose so epic, and I enjoyed in every single note, every single was gold. With Anette, they're songs are in stile like "Dark Side Of The Farytale" I mean, I see them like that.. Miss you Tarja, but, I also listen to you as a single musician. Love you, and again Long Live the Queen of Metal ♥

Nightwish propped her up into the archetype that she is now. They only have themselves to blame. The fact they didn't at least, partially blame themselves in the letter they gave her for the gap between her and the rest of them, is testimony to their own self-centeredness. Long Live the Queen of Metal!
