JJWL Golden State Jiu Jitsu Competition 2023
Blue belt Master 2 Female Featherweight division. Felt fresh on my first match. After only a 3 minute break I was back in for my second and the mental capacity diminished in the last minute of the fight. I made too much space but kept it together to not let her get hooks/points or the submission.

Just started a few months back with my son. I watch these as I am a light guy and flexible, so it is almost like a mixed match when I roll (I know this is not mixed but whatever). Also, I got into these pursuits in part from having the experience of being physically dominated (and humbled) by an older girl who lived by us. At the time it was somewhat terrifying but I appreciate the character development now...
