My problem with To y isn’t that he made Ultron. I love it, it makes his opinion here believable. My problem with the argument is that it implies the Avengers did this all on purpose. Like they weren’t responding to a threat. Is prevention better than a cure? Yes. That doesn’t mean I want the cure locked behind 50 walls before it gets to me nor am I going to blame said cure for the ‘virus’ attacking me. In this case that would be supervillains. They, unfortunately, can’t save everyone.

The reason why Tony isn't sided with Cap is because he knows that deep down, he does it to 'kick ass', and he thinks that the rest of them do it for that reason too... But Cap does it literally and only to save lives To cap, the civilian death was an unfortunate casuality caused because they had to battle evil To Tony, the civilian death was a consequence of 'uninvited heroism' and only to satisfy the need to 'kick ass' which he thinks is also there in the rest of the avengers

I kinda hate how they did Ultron. Iron man fans can tell you in the comics Tony DID NOT build ultron. Hank Pym did. The only bad thing Tony’s robots did is they kidnapped him to an uncharted island to keep him safe and it took the avengers an embarrassingly long time to find out about it. By the time they save him he trained the monkeys on the island to be his butlers.

The main issue I have with civil war is that Tony isn’t even staying true to his character. Previously, who would not bind his technology or himself to world governments, but because he killed a kid by accident (which global governments do way more but I digress) he wants to hand him and beings that are nuclear threats to people as petty as government he’s had to deal with this in the past?

The truth is Natasha sacrificed her life to save 50% of the universe and that’s the most noble way to die and Yelena doesn’t want to accept that her own sister figure died for the most noble cause? Tony Stark AKA Iron Man is the biggest hypocritical jack-ass hero in the Marvel Universe. His arrogant, entitled, and overall "holier than thou" view of everyone and everything around him set the stage for Thanos AKA The Mad Titan and his genocidal madness and agenda. Bet he wouldn't still be "guilt tripping" everyone if the Ghost Rider was present. He would smell and call out Tony's own sins and guilt like they were a neon sign at night. The only reason they were fighting Ultron was because Tony and Banner conspired in secret to create Ultron, something the others would never have agreed to.

Tony had this big moment, but we all know the moment the Accords stopped him from doing something, he would go do his own thing.

Tony and Cap were both right. Take the Justice League for example, where Batman has backups in order to neutralize any and all members in case they go rogue. This is something I agree with since Superman in the shows is CONSTANTLY getting possessed. So, Tony is right that they need some sort of cap (no pun intended) on the Avengers.
