Cheers RRR. We all know someone who has more time than us! I see guys on my lake regularly pulling 3 and 5 nighters and can only dream of that. I just have to grab every opportunity I can, really. My bivvy is actually the Tempest v2 brolly. The one I use most is on its way out now after years of abuse but I loved it so much I have a new one of the same (almost - its the replacement '100' with back window panels) ready to take its place. Recommended.

Many thanks Dave. I only fish the other lake(s) on the syndicate in this lake's close season (end of March to 15 June) - see my vids for around that time. Those other (joined) lakes are prettier and can produce a lot of fish in a session, but not as big. My time is so limited (to me, anyway) that another ticket would be a waste of money or spread my time too thinly across the lakes. There's a good few fish in the present lake that I have not caught yet and will keep me interested for some time yet. Cheers.

Thanks CVC. I think you are spot on there. Fish were coming out here in Aug/Sep already at their 'top' weights. October and November has been quiet and the lake has shut up shop completely now. It does tend to switch back on in the winter so there's hope. Cheers

That waterproof is a cheapy Amazon job, but it's a 10,000 hydrostatic head and has kept me drier than anything I've had before, which admittedly has been lower at 8,000 etc.

Just read your question again. The coat is another cheapy😁 Aldi special (with the bib n braces in the winter). Does the job fine. Not waterproof but shower proof and warm.

Cheers CA5555. Next vid in a week or so. Decent session that one. A new reel was needed (can't have the fishing interrupted 😁) but I should be able to save the old one in time from a spares or repairs purchase on eBay.
