Der Kampf, um die schnellste Rundenzeit Alle Lehrlinge von WFL und FRAI hatten die Gelegenheit, einen Nachmittag auf der Kartbahn zu verbringen. Im Rotax MAX Dome tauchten die Fahrer*innen in eine neue Dimension des Kartfahrens ein. Denn reale E-Kart-Rennerlebnisse werden dort mit virtuellen Elementen kombiniert, was Rennfahrer-Herzen schneller schlagen lässt. Ein gelungener Event!

Sandvik is the world leader in silent tools. Very impressive. How much? Likely more than my cnc.
What kind of a part requires a boring bar that long? That looks pretty impressive. Almost more impressive is the machine needed, because obviously this one can't go back far enough to put the bar in a hole.
O boy , what do you see when a bar sticks that far in a hole?

The phenomenal clamping forces of the B-axis allow the use of damped boring bars with a diameter-length ratio of up to 1:18. This is unbelievable. In cooperation with Sandvik Coromant WFL showed this “world record” live at IMTS. This is possible through the stiffness of the WFL MILLTURN™ multitasking machine and the advanced anti vibration solution of Silent Tools™ technology.
