Hello travelers and welcome to my channel!
Over the years I've heard people say how boring Minnesota is and that there's nothing to do here. So I made this channel to prove those people wrong. Minnesota is a beautiful state and there's so much to do here.
I'll be showing the well-known to the unknown along with sharing the history and fun facts of these amazing locations.
If there's anywhere in this beautiful state that would like to see let me know!

Parks in Minnesota | Ep 36 | Lyndale Park Gardens
I love gardens. Seeing all the different types of flowers, designs, and colors. My husband and I are in the process and creating our own garden and pond in our backyard. Seeing garden parks gives us both great inspiration.
We came on a Tuesday afternoon which was perfect for us being able to miss the crowed. During the weekend I am unsure how busy this park gets but if you have the chance to go during the week I highly recommend it.
This location is like I meantioned in the video 13 minuites from Minneapolis and it's 24 minutes from Saint Paul.

My first time at this park was in 2017 when a friend brought me here. I fell in love with the view and the area and it's been my favorite place to watch the sunset since. Honestly, I've never explored the park before so on another day I'll have to come back to explore the trails. I spent a lot of my teen years at Schulze beach with family and friends but this is my second time on the trail around the lake. The last time I took this trail was in 2016. I was hoping there would have more information about Shulze since it's most likely the most popular lake at Lebanon Hills. But all the information in the videos is what I found. I was hoping All Trails would give me informa...

I found this location from a Minnesota Hiking Facebook group that I'm in. I made a post asking what parks have flowers blooming and this park was mentioned. This is a beautiful location and I had a lot of fun exploring this trail. I can't wait to come back and explore the next area of this park. When I look for locations I find them on Google/ maps and after I look at the photos on Instagram to determine if the location is worth going to and from what I saw during the summer photos it's a beautiful park. Out of all the trails and lakes at Lebanon Hills, this is the one I tend to visit the most. I'm unsure why but I think it's because it's right off the parking lot. I am excited for this mini-series of Lebanon Hills I'll be exploring parts of the park I've never been to. I've only explored McDonough Lake and Jensen Lake and been to Schultz Beach as a teen. I've been to the arboretum 6 times since 2017 and I've only explored the same places which is what I showed in this video and this was my second time driving through the 3-mile drive. I've been having this problem since before RUclips where I'd go to the same place repeatedly and not explore anywhere new unless it's a trip so my goal in 2024 is to break that. In this video I wanted to explore a...

Our last day and location from my trip to Chicago. Your mom looks so young! 😮 The flowers are all so beautiful kind of reminds me of the botanical gardens that we have here in Texas ❤ Looks so peaceful out there 😊 I wonder who planted all of them such a beautiful experience I bet 🤍
Only half way to a thousand keep goinggggggg
19:13 that is actually a treeshrew.(Sorry, the animal-geek in me came out) Nice video, and, it seems, a pretty nice (and free!) zoo, too!
Thank you for the correction! I forgot to take note of the animals while we were there, so I got my information from the zoo's website. It was very nice for being a free zoo.
It starts with one thing
Visited the Lincoln Park Zoo back in 2017! It was a cool city zoo! Sad thing is that I didn't see any red wolves in an exhibit, along with a polar bear & some African Wild Dogs! Would be cool if the Lincoln Park Zoo expands & build more new animal exhibits & welcoming back some elephants, along with welcoming binturongs, Komodo Dragons, warthogs, fossas, lemurs, koupreys, & many more! Leaping Panoplosaurus!🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘🐘
I felt the same on our trip not seeing some of the same animals that you didn't see on your trip there. I love elephants. They are my favorite animal. When I learned that at one point, they did have elephants I was very disappointed that they no longer do.
Try to go to the Brookfield zoo I promise you won’t regret it!
I want to. During our trip to Chicago, we were only there for one full day, so we didn't have time to explore everything that we wanted to. We are planning on going back to explore more and the Brookfield Zoo is defiantly on our list.
@@LzzyAnderson bet bet you won’t regret it
I’m glad you had to visit there you’ll be blessed to be there! Especially at Brookfield zoo
do you guys ever see snakes there? 🤔
This was my first time at this location, but we didn't see snakes. I have not seen one snake at any location I've been to this year.
Excellent video, great job! We got to visit Mystery Cave as elementary school kids on a field trip.. I always enjoyed Turquoise Lake.
Battle creek park use to look very beautiful. Maybe it is the poor economy now days that doesn't have enough money to hire rangers to look after its. It was my all time favorite parks. Take me back memories of growing up around the area. It kind of sad for me to see that.😅😢
I wish I was able to see this park in its glory days. I bet it was very beautiful. Hopefully one day it'll be like that again.
Looks like it would be a calm and peaceful place to walk around! Great video!
It was very clam and peaceful walk. Love parks like these.
I love visiting gardens and parks so much! The Como Park Conservatory looks amazing. I would love to go there if I'll ever visit Minnesota :) The flowers look sooo pretty!
Same and it's even better when it's a two in one.
Haha I like that you kept in your flub it was funny and adorable 😊 I like your VO with more details about the park like about keeping dogs leashed. I feel like that's super important for people to know and adhere to. Your camera is so smooth when you're walking. What were you using to film?
Thank you! I slip up on my words so much that I gave up with redoing the video. I use the DJI Osmo Mobile 6 Smartphone Stabilizer I've had it for over a year now and it's been amazing.
I love this park. We used to have parties here when my dad played slo-pitch softball for the local bar, The Beirstude.
Is this a cold spring?
Yes, it is.
It might be 1year later
It is 4rth of July here
Cool. Amazing song to match with the background 🎉🎉🎉
I love seeing your hiking adventures! Seems like Minnesota has some pretty amazing trails. Would love to explore them if I'll ever visit it! The nature looks so amazing there and as always you've captured it beautifully :)
"FHD like a grandma" was not nice 😂 I'm with you, Lizzy. I dont like change either. We know what works. This is a beautiful waterfall. Listening to the waterfall was so soothing. And let the camera guy know that you standing on that rock means you're a passionate professional!!
I am from there never knew, I live Nevada now home of Leman Caves that seems more extensive.
I just know the weather felt so wonderful not too hot and not too cold and if it was sunny would have even better to sit by the beach also I don’t know if you would call it the woods or the forest but it really look so peaceful out there could really enjoy family time too ❤
Thank you for your videos it will be my guide when I go to Minnesota last week.
I hope you have fun on your trip! But a heads-up Minnesota has been getting a lot of rain and parks have been closed to the public due to flooding.
Please change your background music. It is very boring and detracts from the video. Otherwise, I enjoy what you are doing.
Hi, I'm very sorry for the repeating of the song. Two videos after this one I did change the music up and every video does have their own background music.
how to feed a baby dolphin
Let’s feed a baby dolphin today
you can see them at the zoo and at the beach and at the Aquarium and in the ocean
dolphins are cute
I could just imagine myself sitting by the water… the air looks like it would be really fresh too another great video Lizzy ❤
Thank you!
I went there once it was so cool
I agree. It's a really cool experience.
I also went there with my grandparents on the last road trip outta cities with them. My sister missed out on it cuz she went to a birthday party. I also had a lot of fun there.
Wow, this lake park is so beautiful. I love all of the shots you captured of the sun setting over the lake. I can see my family and I having a sunset picnic here. It's peaceful and serene. Another great vlog 👍🏾 😊
Thank you so much! This would be the perfect place for a sunset picnic.
The park is serene and full of so much to do for different ages ..that sunset what so beautiful ❤❤. No parking fees? Count me in! Thanks for sharing ❤
It is a perfect park for almost anything and everyone.
I need to find one around here for this my toddler would love it ❤
I was just telling my son that we should visit Minneapolis. One of his old teammates made it to the NBA, and he plays for the Timberwolves. We would like to attend a game to cheer him on. While there, I could visit Minnehaha Falls. Im always looking for hidden gems to visit while traveling to new places. That was a great view of the dam.
Congrats on his teammate for making the NBA! Minnehaha Falls is a beautiful park, but it also gets very busy. This was a rare moment for not being busy. I was quite shocked when we got here to see almost no one. But this is defiantly a spot to check out.
😌....💜
You've gotta go back and check out the cemetery! It's very close to there.
I didn't know there was a cemetery nearby. Thank you for the information. My husband and I will have to make another trip there soon to check it out.
Does the water dripping insude caves makes us wet ? Does it spill on us? Also is there a near by parking lot close to the entrance of the cave
There's a little bit of water that will land on your head, face, and clothing but it won't make you wet and for the parking there is parking right outside of the visitor center which is where you'll meet your tour guide it's a little walk to the cave but not a far one.
The wooden "gate" at 6:58 was made by a homeless guy about a month ago. He worked on it for several days, then I never saw him after that. He - or someone - left a sign telling people to keep building. And they have.
It's beautiful. Was my highlight of the trip. Hopefully he is okay, but he did an amazing job and I love that people kept on adding to it.
Nice video. I will be there tomorrow looking for some cliffs to rappel
Thank you 😊I hope you have fun on your adventure!
@@LzzyAnderson it was a great place to go explore 😄
Seeing those nasty things in her lips makes me wanna vomit, yuck!!😡 Got to watch someone else's presentation. Bye!
This is such a beautiful conservatory. I would've never thought about having a wedding in one. The Japanese garden is usually my favorite area in conservatories.
I thought every conservatory hosted weddings until I visited the ones in Chicago. Japanese gardens are beautiful. I love them they are so calming.
I love the many plants and flowers, it was interesting to see you walk into the wedding venue. I haven't been to Minnesota but when I do I will love to visit this place. The Japanese garden is beautiful.
Haha yeah, I didn't realize they were setting up for a wedding. I've never been there before when they were setting up since that's where the bonsai trees garden is located. I felt a bit awkward. Como Conservatory is defiantly worth a visit.
Beautiful video. Do we get wet by any chance in this cave? Does droplets 💦 of water spill on us inside the cave?
There are areas where there's more droplets than others. I was hit a few times on this tour.
I've walked that park many times. I used to walk it trying to lose weight.
This was my second time visiting this park. The first time was long before I started RUclips. It is a beautiful park.
Very beautiful and serene ❤ awesome vid😊
Thank you very much!
IT WAS THE FOURTH OF JULY U AND I WERE U AND I WERE FIRE FIRE FIREWORKSSS THAT WENT OFF TO SOON QND I MISS U IN THE JUNE GLOOM TO

That's my brother.
I love the 5th photo of the waterfall, it’s so beautiful and the video if it is so relaxing, I wish I could watch that clip over and over again. That must be a long walk😅. Thanks for taking us with you❤
Thank you so much 😀
what a beautiful video on my favorite Aquarium in the entire world, thank you! what was your favorite part?
It is an amazing aquarium. This is the biggest one I've been to so far. A few of these animals I've never seen before, but I'd have to say my favorite were the Beluga Whales.
It’s not high roller that you labeled it’s the Wild thing
Whoops I put down the wrong coaster from the map. Thank you for the correction 😊
