Awww thank you! Yes stacking, aligning edges of things in a straight line, counting ... makes me feel calm too. Maybe it is my ADHD at work (though everyone seems to have this these days). I have a few more vids coming up and will also post more koans when I get round to editing them. Personally I find the voice-only readings much less stressful to put together but this was fun too and I only now realise visual stimuli play a big part in ASMR. Hope you get your chime/gong! Mine is a very cheap copy based on was invented and patented as 'the hang drum'. I'm happy getting this version because hangs - expensive as they come at a couple of grand with long waiting lists - actually took the technology developed by the Caribbean steel pan. So! Thank you so much for taking time to write feedback! It's all been very helpful and makes me realise ppl are listening and watching instead of a 5s click :-)

@WhisperingArchive I really enjoy those too! I just like fall asleep halfway through so I have to listen again to get the story lol. Typically it won't really occur to me to comment, but like especially if someone has less comments or views I really want to, because one the algorithm and two it can be really encouraging for people to know that what they're making actually reaches people who interacts with and enjoys it!

But I've only just started 3 weeks ago, so will see... so far, the Porcelain Shards vid has peaked and only had 4 views in past 8 hours, which is strange, compared to other vids. Who knows how these things are calculated.

@WhisperingArchive I don't have money to collect like actual fancy teas, but I have a small collection of cat shaped teapots(nine of them right now!) lol And I'm also a collector of miscellaneous items so I absolutely feel that!

@@thymebutter2556 Ahaha you'd be surprised: not that many fine teas are so fancy (though the box - which came through a different source - gives the impression it's fancy). I buy from the internet in loose leaf a bit hit and miss as I go for cheapest prices, but it's fun to find out

This is super kind of you! Yes the algorithm is a bit strange. I suspect eventually I will find two listening camps - those who like ASMR for the tingles. And those who want bedtime stories and want to hear the words more clearly. Thank you so much for listening! And if you have requests I will try to accommodate if I can! I am going to an Advent Calendar of mystery and surprise objets d'art (and random stuff). Have you been listening to ASMR long too?

Well, I'm in my early twenties so someone who's been alive longer will probably have been listening longer, but for me I think since like 2019 I've been looking up specifically ASMR. Before that I would listen to lots of soft spoken stories or things that weren't technically labeled that but were. I don't know if I have any like book or reading requests right now? I like to read a lot but like I'd have to look through my shelf and Goodreads, and I don't know if it's something other people would like lol.

@@thymebutter2556 Let me know and I'll try! The problem with books is I'm slightly wary about copyright issues. But hey - with not that many views, not such a problem right now haha. Early 20s! I wish I were that age again - in my younger days I loved foley effects, except I never knew they were ASMR until the trend took off about 10 years ago. I hooe you get good listenings! And other pleasant stimuli

For some more of the like comment feedback you were asking for or just a personal list, ⟩⟩ 2:22 absolutely love this sound ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ I love a lot of the sounds during the reading, and the breathy sounding whispers! Very very relaxing ⟩⟩8:50 also a great noise ★❤★, 9:21 not long after is also great, but I just like sort of tapping or like paper noises and fire-esq stuff in general lol. I didn't want to like time stamp everything I liked because there would be a ton of time stamps? And I'm not even halfway through the video yet lol ⟩⟩I also just love the bowl noises intermittently, and the noises in the background :D And admittedly at this point I kinda was just listening to the video and forgot to update this comment I think the only thing I didn't really like was the crinkly plastic at the very beginning? But that's a personal thing, and I just have a light headache right now so I'm more sensitive. I know there's tons of people who love that noise as well :]

@@thymebutter2556 thank you! this is amazing feedback and definitely helping me, and thank you for the trouble, time and care you have taken to put it out. That algorithm is not so easy to crack eh.. possibly because I'm trying out a range of different sub-niches, or maybe just a beet too niche for some.. But glad you're listening! Sorry about the plastic - will crinkle less and try out new sounds. Am going to shortly make Zen Koan 'B' list, and also just put out my very first video for the Tea Series - again, not perfectly happy with the audio balance, but still learning.
