@@themeparklunatic1996 Yeah that sucks that more parks don’t do stuff like this, but weather can play a factor, luckily in San Antonio, it hardly ever gets freezing, this particular night it was roughly in the upper 50s with little to no wind, so it made for a good new years celebration. SFFT does so many different events throughout the year, so it literally lives up to its name, lol.

I just use my IPhone 12, then edit my videos with InShot, haven’t invested in any camera equipment yet, but I know I at least want to buy a GoPro sometime soon since I visit amusement and water parks a lot, and certain parks will allow you to film on the rides with a wrist or chest mount, but for arcade vlogs, I’ll likely just be using my phone.

@@CuriousJulius Yeah I always have my phone turned sideways so that my vlogs show up in full screen, vertical just doesn’t do it for me, lol. I appreciate you watching! Ah that’s too bad, good thing is is the parade goes through Spring Break, so still plenty of chances to see it.

It hasn’t crossed my mind actually, I usually give most of my winnings to my little sister, she loves the plush I win from there, I may have to look into selling them though if they sell good!

Not for me personally, I don’t even remember the last time anything freaked me out at an amusement park, lol. I’ve been visiting them for over half my life now, I follow the amusement industry quite a bit too, it hits different when all that happens.

@@ThemeParkMotivation No problem! I know there’s been lots of questions about the future of this park, but it’s most definitely happening. The city of Austin has just been real stingy about issuing construction permits these last few years which is why they’ve been pretty silent about progress for the most part, but they’re going to have the park open before we know it.

Nice! I almost always see it with little to no line, so I ride it quite a bit every time I go to the park, I marathon it like crazy during exclusive ride time sessions during special events, I think I usually get somewhere around 15-20 rides on during ERTs, the operations and capacity on it really helps.

Oh we will, I just know it, we just gotta plan a trip with all of us, get out there for a weekend again.

Astrobabe He didn’t do as well as we thought he would, he wast last in the class I showed in, most of of the people who knew about that year’s judge said that apparently he is very biased towards choosing HIS OWN pigs to win for the most part, he also showed a lot of inconsistency when I watched him judge other classes, so... I’m not exactly sure what the hell that was all about.

W. Kyler L Not for these guys, they have padding on the bottom of their feet, also if I did put down any bedding, mold could grow from all their waste and they could’ve ended up sick.

Hmmm, I’ve never actually seen or heard of any pigs just standing still in the ring, you definitely don’t want to just whack them with the whip as that will be an automatic disqualification and will only stress the pig more, my best guess would be to just let it do it’s own thing, but tap it every so often to see if it moves, they may just need to adjust to being surrounded by a bunch of pigs walking around them.

Tylar Lozano oh alrighty. I’ve been working with her and occasionally, she’ll just stand and not move. I did see some progress today though, when I realized she would move when I gave her a little more pressure with the whip. Not too much pressure though. I suppose I wasn’t hitting hard enough.

You probably just need to work with her more often, she’ll learn better the more you work with her and you should be able to use lighter taps to let her know she’s doing what you want her to do once she gets the hang of it.

I started not tapping his hams shortly after this, I also worked with him a lot more than what this video is showing(at least an hour/hour and a half every day), it was my first year showing a pig too, so I was still learning.

For a first year this is awesome!! He’s a great looking pig. If you really want to learn some more, id suggest going to a state show! My 4th year showing pigs I went to the MSU show with my pig... I learned a ton. I ended up going again the next year (this year) and he placed first in market, and my other pig placed third. I personally wouldn’t suggest taking a pig for the first time when its new to you, but id definitely go watch and then take a pig the next year. Thats what I would’ve done if I could go back and change it. But yeah, this is a great looking hog and you did great besides the hams to get him moving. I can tell you’re definitely motivated and meaning well. Keep up the good work!!

Hannah Steffes That’s awesome! I graduated last year, but if my sister decides to show next year, I’ll probably see if she may be interested in showing in one of the major shows, but I’ll take your advice and just start her off with the county show and maybe go see the local major show afterwards.

No, they're supposed to have their cage like this, they have padding on the bottom of their feet which prevent them from hurting their feet, if there was any hay or other bedding, their waste would collect in it which could lead to mold causing them to get sick.
