@@occckid123nope it was a flat road. The video was taken from a red light on a highway. I felt like I was needing to give it at least 1/2 throttle everywhere I went to make the car move. The v6 would’ve made it livelier for sure

@ that’s why I said *in such large vehicles, because if you’re comparing it to something like an S8, 7 seconds seems slow. Also “7 seconds” is a nuanced measurement for this vehicle. From what I’ve seen, these 70s are 1.5-2.0 seconds faster than that. You have to factor in the driver, incline, fuel, load, maintenance, launch control, Mi-Drive selection, etc. also..

@@20gravedigger11 NO research needed. ZF makes some of the best transmissions around. They designed the 9 speed for the front drive "based". Nothing further to research. It is light years better than any CVT let alone some of the transmissions that GM and other brands have tried to put out on their own.

@@lucyfan1976 LMAO… I never said CVTs were good and I never said ZF was bad. In general, they’ve been good… ZF8 is one of the best transmissions ever made in my opinion. But we’re talking about the ZF9… every friend or family member of mine who has had a ZF9 had issues with it (including myself). They owned/leased Chrysler products, Hondas, Acuras. A friend of mine leased a TLX, the car would randomly quit on him while getting up to speed in the highway (all related to transmission), I leased an MDX and it would skip between 25-45 MPH, two other friends had a Honda Pilot and Chrysler Pacifica… similar issues. That’s just from one small sampling in my circle… never mind the rest of the car-buying world. There’s tons of articles/RUclips videos, even class action lawsuits, documenting this transmission and the serious issues it’s had.

The difference between Eco, Normal, and Sport is not felt during 100% throttle input. The modes only affect shift points and throttle responsiveness during normal driving conditions.

Turn the cruise control off and you'll get the 3 gauges. Sport mode turns them all red.

The 1SS gets you the lt1 engine and it’s on the original purchaser to pick options. The 2SS just gets more standard upgrades but a 1SS can be optioned nicely with heated seats NPP exhaust and even heads up display. The 3lt is a 2SS optioned car without the v8. 3lt instrument cluster weak compared to 1SS and 2SS imo

It’s the blind spot monitoring that the 1ss does not have it also does not have 360 view camera. I already curb rashes my 1ss and almost side swiped someone due to the blind spots.

@@JustinSmith-b6q yeah I hear ya on the blind spots,the Camaro definitely forces you to be hyper aware while driving/changing lanes. I have a 2016 2SS so no 360 camera for me either however I do have blind spot monitoring

Not having blind spot monitoring in a Camaro was just a dumb engineering move by GM. It you look at corvette c8 build specs, you have a lt2 to get it. Idiots at GM.

@@tyhyhh I was told by a Mazda sales this is a dct. There are two wet clutches integrated with an electric motor and serves as a dct. Stop incorrectly correcting other people before researching dummy lol

@@XD-uh8ye it’s an 8 speed with single wet clutch in place of a torque converter. The clutch is used for getting the car going and that’s it.
