I watched life is strange when i was around 14. Now im 21. Few months ago i was laying on the floor with my lover at the time and this song started playing from spotify. Then i said "i know this song from somewhere, i don't know where, but i feel so connected to it". Today I finally found out and I even remembered what the scene was about, it's like my body still remembered how much I cried and how emotional I was those 6 years ago, even if my mind couldn't remember. Damn

The ending for P3 didn't affect me in the slightest, but holy shit THIS is what absolutely broke me into pieces out of everything in the entire game. You don't get random highschoolers fighting gods and using powers to save the world in real life, it's impossible to relate. But a story like this one, of a random young man in the world drawing the short end of the stick and being condemned from birth is so painfully real. I don't think I've ever quite seen a piece of writing deliver such a sharp and poignant message as well as this one has. "If you wait until their day comes... it's too late. Clinging to their cold bodies won't bring them back - If you love someone, let them know it." What a good game.

Unlike the ending, I wasn't prepared for this. The whole last day to this game is devastating payoff to 100 plus hours of character development and the devs know they have your heart hostage for sad moments. Glad Reload is how I experienced P3 for the first time.

This scene certainly hits harder after you play Before The Storm. You get a feel of Rachel’s character and how much she meant to Chloe. She was the light in the darkness when Chloe felt like she had no one in her life to turn to after her dad died. Now, she’s gone. That’s gotta be soul crushing, losing two of the most important people in your life that you loved and cared about. 😔

Coming back here to this scene after reading the comics and stuff makes me realize how much more sad this scene is. When Chloe says I loved her so much,,, she meant it romantically. Had Rachel not been killed they would still be in a relationship.
