I don't see why Shondo thinks Vtubers, or any streamer, owes their fans transparency about their love lives. It's nice when they let us know they found someone, but it's not required in the name of "honesty" or some such. And if this is all based around the conviction that female streamers can only have a presumed love object dynamic with their viewers, that's just the wrong viewpoint to begin with. Male streamers are not held to this standard.

Facts. My “intern” is my best friend. It’s an on going joke but yes I for one also believe that vtubers are and should be honest. I don’t tell people everything but I am as transparent as I feel is needed to be to build and maintain trust. Also Umbra would be my manager by Shondos logic here. For transparency Umbra is my cat.
