Pinchot with a long o sound.
Why didn't you go past the upper sandy guard station?
Not very smart without an ice axe
Cap
Thank you sir!
it is amazing that all of a sudden your old videos are showing up in my feed.
This beyond Sad, my wife and I used to fish this, when Sea-Run Cutthroat or Salmon fishing in the South Fork Nehalem, was slow, and in the late season we collected edible mushrooms there and Never Saw anyone there (in the 1970s). At any rate that Parking Spot, reminds of Gran Central Station in New York 🤣 We'll never go there again as I know too many spots, where I can still have Solitude and big fish!!
I always wanted to hike up to table Mt
How many are you allowed to keep
is the campsite open june 1st?
when I was a kid I was always amazed that the logs would move from one side of the lake to the other every night, was there every summer from 1965 until 1988 I think of this place any time I hear someone say "the lake" thanks for posting this video it made my eyes water
You guys eat real good. I would take typical climber's food - pasta and tuna fish, instant oatmeal, that sort of stuff. Mt. Anderson is a definite destination. You can camp at the glacier tarn/lake. If you are a climber, head over Flypaper pass (it gets to real dicy much after June) onto the north side. It is a beautiful backcountry there. If you are so inclined, you can drop into 1000 acre meadow and head out the Dose.

You guys are awesome, take that big chunk out of life! Subscribed!!!!!
Thanks for the video. I have a bit of a height issue and I’m wondering if there’s many sections that are narrow with steep drop offs I didn’t see any in the video. Anyone know?
Thank you for showing the long version of this video. Have always enjoyed it. It's right up my "valley"...lol
American Bald Eagles seem friendly to fishermen , In the. Vancouver BC to Whistler area The Canuck bald eagles like to steal the trout off your line 😜
Something nobody mentions on these videos, is you drive right buy the world's largest spruce tree. I think that walk is 2/10 of a mile.
Have you ever returned ?
I want to hike to pool of the winds how did u get to the bridge below to see that view
Amazing ty
I truly enjoyed the video!! in 1978 my father & I did a landscape job in North Bonneville & we talked about coming back someday & hiking to the top of Hamilton Mountain but never got a chance to. My dad past away in 2011 & i'm 60yrs old now with health problem's so i will never be able to make that dream & hike to the top!! I now live below Hamilton Mountain in North Bonneville & look up at the face of the mountain like my father & i did so many years ago wishing he & i could of made that hike together but never got to. So thank you & your family for the video of what a awesome hike it would of been!!
Is that a 9 foot fly rod?
It's "Pin-cho" not "Pin-chot".
Wow, the view of the valley along the trail is so beautiful. Small waterfalls are spectacular. I'm glad to be your best channel friend. Have a nice weekend. 🤙🤙🤙👌
I know it's a secret and all, but mind sharing where you accessed this?
Went to this spot. Got skunked, but a fella mentioned catching a solid brooder the day before. Gonna go back here to camp near the area.
What is the address ?
Who else from toppenish
The start at Bonneville Hot Spring Resort is no longer available. The round trip distance from the Bonneville trail head is nearly 16 miles.
Great vid Will!!!!
Dude, Don't express glissading as a "simple concern with and Ice ax" . If readers here do not know how to truly do a "self-arrest" with an Ice ax, both feet forward and be able to "turn around if upside down, head first and roll back over, the unexperienced can truly impale themself. I highly suggest learning first and practicing from someone that knows the technique. I've been an alpinist and "serious BIg wall climber for 50 years and still climb. I've seen stupid people do stupid stuff because they don't have the experience to know the literal pitfalls that can happen. Don't just be cautious, be smart and master your skill.
Climbing this weekend, that was super helpful!! Thank you!
Parking lot and bathrooms dang. I use to fish there in the mid 90s. So peaceful.
Recognized Zero 7 right away! Been awhile since I've heard that song, great tune! Great video too! 👌
Very nice video. I really enjoyed it. Well done!
Can we use boat motor I the lake..???
My largest rainbow out of this lost lake was a 32 inch 12 1/2 lbs. Grandaughter pulled a 27 inch 9 lb. Its a great lake. I've fished it for 30+ yrs, lived close by
Wow I gotta check this place out!!
what sort of knots do you use to be able to get your gear back,...in the learning and interested phase of this all!!
Looking at your camp setup, nice. Would you share a gear list? And how heavy your pack is. I have been working on getting my wife to go on an overnight hike with me. I have 1 chance to make it go right or it will never happen again. I am the typical ensensitve male, don't think of the comfort items.
Thanks for filming your glissading 'joy ride' -- no one else has posted a long ride like yours. Thanks for the detailed description of how hard it was --your video was so inspiring, I'm going to work on the strength and stamina of this 66 year old body and try for this one day, I hope!
awesome video. wanna check it out in two weeks myself
Nice video but I hope you guys picked up those discarded water bottles you can see at the 6:23 mark.
UFO hanger door bottom left at 3:45
Awesome videos. How come you stopped?
Great video. Oregon is such an awesome place to hike!
Crescent Glacier has lost 6% of its surface area from 1904 to 2006 3:07 . If that rate continues it will be completely gone in just 1700 years.
13.5 miles takes 2-3 days?
Its actually 13.5 one way.
I hiked this once, before I got my new knees. On the decent a man ran past me up to the top, and soon returned again running to the parking lot. Man I wish I was young again...
