Yes Ike should have talked to Emem about how he ignored her that week, it's unacceptable behavior to ignore your wife for a whole week because you "need space". He does not get a pass. They had not talked about it, can't act like it never happened. 😒 Also he had no intention of starting over otherwise he would have had different energy and WOULD NOT have left her to "enjoy her Sunday " alone. He is a man child and needs to just be done. I wish either of them would just decide to pay the fine and quit. She will be emotionally abused for 4 more weeks.😒

Zar how could you think it was about you when Juan cried when every time he talks about his story he breaks down. I love Juan and have always liked him. He has goals and Karla didn’t support them . Although she is not🙄 Karla is what I would call an airhead. However, I would not be surprised if Juan and Karla makes it. I think we wanted speed marriage and that’s not real life. I feel both Karla and Emem’s personality have faded and dimmed. That is a direct reflection of the ill matched partners they were matched with. I also believe Karla has a lot of depth. Depth is not always tied to money and “stuff”. Her priorities are different and different is perfectly ok and needed for balance.

The Australian version of this show, has the experts meeting collectively with the couples weekly. I believe that should be something that the American version adopts.

The Australian version everything is in a remote location in Australia not in their home cities. After a few weeks when they need to meet the family. They fly to their home town and stay in their partners home and meet the family and friends. The American version is the worst version of MAFS. It’s clear changes are needed but each season they keep the same failed format.

I enjoy you too, (especially Joe lol) anyway when I first got married I would run home to my mom's house every time there was a problem I thought would work better for us. one day when my husband and I had an argument I went to my mom's house and she did not let me in she said this is not the "Do drop inn" you have an issue with your husband your marriage you work it out at your home but do not use my home as the do drop inn. I agree with you too when you say it's two bedrooms utilize that and if you choose to go home for any reason that should eliminate your time on the show you are a marriage that will not work out. Because you do not solve your issues you run home to Mama's and Mama house is not a drop inn.

My theory for why David lied about the text and not that he was texting his exes is because that text was for Madison and all hell would’ve broke loose. Michelle and Maddison are real close, he messed up 😂

I believe Emem had difficulty moving forward because the experts completely disregarded her needs and feelings in that previous session. Everything was catered to Ike and what he needed to move forward and move back into the apartment. Unless it was edited out, not once did they ask Emem. Everything is pandered to his needs. He didn’t even have to apologize for calling her an ahole. Emem needs to stop begging that man to be her husband, pack up her stuff and return to her dope apartment.

Joe you and Zar were the best guest I have ever seen on After Party. It’s not just that you speak your mind. It’s the choice of words both of you use. It’s not what you say it’s how you say it. I actually believe if Joe was on this show in some capacity that he could have an honest conversation with Ikechi without him getting upset and have a breakthrough with Ikechi. The both of you have powerful people skills. I don’t know you personally. I hear how you speak about the people in your life. I hear the words you say. There is something MAGICAL about the 2 of you. If you had a church people would be flocking to your church. Here in Dallas we have many mega churches. The Potters House is one of those churches. The two of you remind me a lot of Bishop Jake’s and Serita Jake’s. You have this type of transformational energy. God has anointed this marriage and God has bigger plans for the both of you. I knew it the first time I stumbled upon you. Joe and Zar, you are special. The way the both of you chose words, is like poetry in conversation. It never comes off as negative or mean.

I can kind of relate to Emem. When I first started going to therapy years ago, that therapist said to me, why when someone rejecting you try harder. Her texting him and calling him non stop is obsessive. One text One call is enough. You can't make somebody wanna be with you.Or wanna talk to you or wanna be around you. I really hope that she backs off because i get a vibe that she is still going to be reaching out to him
