10 BEST Hybrid SUVs You Can Buy In 2023 & 2024 For Reliability and Value
My last GM truck was back in 1996. It was the GMC Sonoma off road package a.k.a Hirider. The 4.3 was a very strong reliable V6. Did the usual maintenance (oil changes new plugs when needed & so on). The only issue was at 100 thousand miles intake gasket replacement. Kept it up thru 2009 there the truck had reached 148 thousand miles got good gas mileage. Decided to downsize into a '09 Chevy HHR SS panel with the turbo 2 liter 4. It was just 1 of 216 SS panels built i later found out. Love it.
They did not mention the worst vehicle I have ever owned, a Ford 150 with the Eco 3.5 engine. I have had nothing but problems with it. I joke about my weekly check engine light with, yet, another sensor failure. It will be a happy day when I see it down the road with it's new owner. I will never own another Ford product and I have owned Fords since the 50s, but nothing like this pile of junk.
Fortunately no one will by JaGuars any more so no reliability issue
All of them sucks… not power at all and not aerodynamic design… all of them are good for the Chinese people and not for the USA geography. Those engines can blow up after a long 2000 miles ..
Gm is reliable
Include Honda CRV 2021 after 70,000 miles transmission broken already 😢😢😢
Why you lie I owe ranger rover Velar. Never have a problem. Please correct you lie
Lie
NEVER BELEIVE THE STICKER MPG ITS ALL BULL CRAP
YOUR SELECTION IS SPOT ON EXCEPT FOR THE FORD ESCAPE WHICH HAS NO PLACE WITH THE OTHER MORE HIGH QUALITY AND MORE RELIABLE MANUFACTURERS
Never ever buy a Kia Soul. This car will give you endless problems.
Stopped listening aftwr number one. Terrible choice. That with the lazy ass AI voice and im done..
Is this an AI VOICE?

Geeze, my Goldwing gets 40-42 and it’s a six cylinder motorcycle. Why can’t a four wheel vehicle do better than my scooter?
Great video! Really appreciate the in-depth look at these vehicles and the clear warnings. This kind of information is invaluable for anyone looking to buy a used car, especially those on a budget. The visuals were helpful too, making it easy to understand the potential issues. Thanks for saving people from potentially costly mistakes!
Toyotas are the best in terms of reliability Sticking to 4runner for life
250k is just getting broken in lol. Gmt800 and toyota should be at the top of this list
Regulations need to be updated. Technology seems to be the reason for most of these failures. This was not the case a decade ago.
the honda pilot is a great great choice 👌👌
You are talk man and you do not know shit from shinola.
woww
Yes I have one Nissan rogue transmission is gone no way to buy Nissan again
How reliable is the VW Tiguan?
It's not the first 100,00 km that is definitive its the 2nd 100,oo and the 3rd and fourth that is the measure of realiblity.
AI videos suck. 👎🏾
Thank you for posting this great video
On my 4th Lexus since 1999. Still own 3 of them. 145k, 126k and 60k not an issue w any of them. All have v6 -best engine ever(imo) all just simple required maintenance. Nothing else for me…
Dang I just bought my 2024 Kia Seltos! Help
I lost the best auto I've ever had in a flood on New Years Day. A 1997 Honda Accord Sedan. Drove it for 26 years, well past 100k. Loved that car.
I am old. I know very little about most of the vehicles that were mentioned in this video. Probably because I am a fleet mechanic and have spent the last 39 years working on International trucks and Ford pickups. Most of the pickups in the fleet are F150s which are as basic as a person can get. At best we get a pair of floor mats and a stereo but not much else. The drivers don't need anything fancy since they are usually hauling material from point A to point B. But that got me thinking when I saw a Chevy pickup listed as one of the more unreliable pickups available. The narrator mentioned that the Chevy wasn't the only unreliable full-size pickup a person could buy. I guess that's a fair statement, but I have noticed anymore, there isn't much that separates a full-size pickup from a modern car. By that, I mean that all the features that are available in a modern car are also available in full-size pickups. It didn't used to be that way. Times sure have changed. When I was a kid my Dad always owned pickups and there was a distinct difference between his pickups and the family car. The family car was what you drove when you went on vacation or had to travel into town. It was comfortable and had air conditioning and a radio. Dad's pickup was what you took to the dump or haul a load of wood from the lumber store. It wasn't comfortable and didn't handle very well. The engine was noisy and the door seals leaked air when driving down the road. It was a truck! That's how they were supposed to run. Some pickup truck owners did have a full-size camper that was used for camping or small vacations. They still didn't handle very well and got terrible gas mileage. Still, they certainly didn't have all the features that could be found inside of a car. I guess I have been around to long when I hear about modern pickup trucks being equipped with navigation systems and parking assist. If a person needs all that, why not buy a car?
Nissan has greatly disappointed me.. I won't be going back to them.
My 2010!.. Toyota Rav 1 has 90,000 miles and never needed anything but oil tires and changed and breaks once!. Runs new and expect it to run for 250,000+ plus miles like my neighbors . I love my Toyota! I m 55 and had an earlier history of owning American cars and living in repair shops and spending lots of money. Got a Toyota and never had any issues but Americans don't care to listen and are willing to pay for repairs and live in the shop rather then on the road❤.
Anything to make money off of nonfactual news
You should put all Toyotas on this. They are always in for some kind of service.
No problem with my Chevy truck. 235 thousand miles and no major troubles
Had a Grand Caravan over 300 thousand miles!Cast iron motors! No plastic!!
What kids oil makes cars last long times plus Lucas!!
I will stick with my F150 and it's 302 coyote engine
That is surprising about the Hyundai and Kia models, since I have never heard that info about them before.
2015 Santa Fe owner here! Just before Labor Day, my engine started knocking just hitting 131.000 miles. We ended up having to tow it back to the dealership. They had it for 6 wks. After I got it back just days after my check engine light came on. Now they think i need a new catalytic converter. I will NEVER buy a Hyundai or Kia again.
Toyota fan here. Had 2 Celicas and a 1991 MR2 Turbo with 99,000 on it.
I'm older than dirt and have therefore been around for ages and figured out quite a few things. If your VIN# begins with a letter J, the chances are that it will last a very long time. Why? Most likely a political reason, sorry to say.
Or any EV
You missed the Toyota tundra V6 that has caused a 60%drop in sales. Problems with Japanese cars as their own arrogance causes their acceptance of failure to be addressed in a reasonable fashion. Like the tundra they blame owner for mechanical failure before addressing the real problem with machinery and cleaning procedures in the manufacture process. This took 3 years of failure before rebuilding these engine. Some owners pay for the very expensive repairs out of pocket that could exceed $10,000. That's because Toyota doesn't have a crate engine program like domestic market. So response is slow alway denying the problem exists. I remember when Honda had seatbelt failure. People were dying in accidents, Honda blame the owners for not keeping their cars clean in North America.
So, in short, don't buy any American, German, British, or Korean cars. Rather buy an Italian or French brand. Ironic, since Italian and French cars were known for being unreliable in the past, but nowadays, according to independent reliability and customer satisfaction studies Alfa-Romeo received a higher reliability score than its German rivals like BMW Mercedes and Audi.
My 2009 GMC Acadia is better than any of this crap.😅
Nissan has a warranty on their engines.
New tech takes a long time to become reliable. Why such a hurry to put new models out there every year? Take some time instead to build reliable vehicles.
Kinda misinformed
