The Best Buick Build Ever!
Просмотров 131 тыс.15 лет назад
Time compressed build of a 1955 Buick Special custom rod. See this car go from stock to a custom frame, air ride, custom panels, amazing metal work, to paint, and finally completion. Apparently these things don't happen in less than 10 minutes, or even a week. See how it is *really* done. This ain't no TV show!

Old car with new tricks! Touchscreen entertainment console, LS1 Corvette engine, and more!
Lost me with the LS..
🚫 no inbreeding 👎
Surely this wasn't edited in 240p, right? Is there a better original you can upload? Looks like an amazing project, it's just so hard to see detail. How is it after all this time?
Who says 4 doors are not cool
Art Morrison chassis work's makes the build go a whole lot smoother tell them what you got and what you want all done to your chassis. Put your old body on all new running set up.
Plan on doing something like this to my car. Maybe not all the technology and all that but I’ve seen this car online and it was cool to see how it was done.
This is beautiful and I appreciate it but RUclips channel Nephilim Kustoms 55 Buick rat rod is amazing. Although it's probably unfair to compare them as they are really different genres of cars. ruclips.net/video/sYFCLl_s4b4/видео.html
Back to the future------VaRooooom😄!
To each their own - but having ridden in one that was almost new as a child ,you ruined it.
1960 I got my first car. A 55 Buick Special. Left it in Grandpa’ s dirt floor shed in 1962 to go to ParrIs Island. Came home in 1967 to a pile of rust.
Damn that sucks
And No misc- fasteners left over, 🤞 everything in its place, nice Resto'.👍
Just beautiful very nice
Gorgeous car! Fuck the idiots below. “Oh you ruined it” yes they are young and dumb. Awesome!

A classic destroyed for no reason
Oh....oh...my.
Can't be best Buick build ever if it's not a 50. But it is very nice!
STOP BUTCHERING classic cars . THIS IS MORE PROOF SOME MEN ARE TOTAL ASSHOLES
Normally I don't like updates, but this is gorgeous.
You do know that car has 2 doors to many.. Agreed another destroyed car. The best part is, it's a four door so no loss or gain.
Great job man!!! You put it on the road again!!!
Most car build I have ever seen.very special.
Ruined.
I agree. When I realized it was a resto-mod, I lost interest. So many Chevy Tri-Fives ruined this way as well.
Thanks for saving that car
The Nail Head would twist that little LS engine in half.
Glad I missed all the flack a year ago... jeesh what a whine fest. Man took a rotting car and gave it some modern life while keeping the best of the 50's alive. Stunner.
Absolutely beautiful! Sharp as a tack man. Great job, now I have a better understanding on why rebuilt classics cost so much, it's a lot of work involved. Thanks for posting, nice ride.
if everyone's mad about what they did to this go look at some vintage demolition derby footage
This was a great build up until 1:44.
OMG..
DAMN, Sam! :-)
holy shit I saw a vw bus!
WOW!
how much does it cost to insure it?
Just like you said . The best Buick build ever . Stunning.
Bad Ass! Great Build Job...
Jet airplanes
Man what up pete. Was watching the same video hah!
I think the wheels make the whole car, good choice!
Congratulations, is just awesome!!! I cry when i can see this achievement. I lost a Special Riviera 1958 in Mexico City. :(
Back in 1984 my cousin was the second owner of a 1950 Buick it was Bugandy beautiful car, he was 21 when he bought it off this old man. I think he paid $5,000 this day it would be like 40,000 how prices jumped. The car was garage kept. My cousin sold the car off to someone else that took good care of it. The car was well maintain. I often wonder if that car is still around or made it to the junk yard.
It sparkles and shines, and you did a hell of a good job on it, but it would have been nice if it could have stayed original. I really wish you hadn't lowered it. That said, it reminds me of our old '56 Buick which was a rocket ship (if you could keep the front end from wandering)! A lot of hard and beautiful work went into this - the paint finish looks miles deep. Thanks for documenting it for us.
Incredibly nice!
I M P R E S S I V E! Congrats for completing that labor of love through technical know-how. I'm a Buick fan from that era ('52-62) and your resto mod looks terrific. I prefer a stock stance but still, I appreciate your design inside and out. Thanks for sharing.
yeah too bad you put an LS1 in there
man you fucked that beautiful american classic up !!!!!!!!!!!
You really f'ed that one.. idiot!
Magnifique, bravo, vous êtes des champions!!!!!!!!!!!!!! On n'a pas de telles belles voitures en France...I love american's cars,i love USA!!!!!!!!!!!!

Beautiful job. I wish I had kept my dad's:) THat thing would pull stumps:)
I must admit when the video started and I saw the Buick being chopped up I was mortified, but the final product does look good.
Just stunning!
